Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of 2,5-bisaminomethylfuran as hardener for resin components made of epoxy resin and reactive diluent, and also to a corresponding curable composition, curing thereof, and the cured epoxy resin obtainable therefrom. The present invention further relates to the use of 2,5-bisaminomethylfuran as hardener for the production of epoxy-resin-based coatings, in particular of floor coatings with early-stage water resistance.
