    Abstract: Systems and methods include a server configured to provide an application to a remote computing device. The application displays a project image including a photo of a paintable structure and a hot spot located at a predefined location within the project image and configured to draw attention by at least one of blinking, pulsing, and enlarging. The application displays a first link and a second link in response to a cursor being controlled to touch or roll over the hot spot. The application displays at least one of a color name and a color number associated with a paint color at the predefined location of the hot spot in response to receiving input selecting the first link, and displays a color summary including a list of paint colors used in the project image in response to receiving input selecting the second link.

    Abstract: Systems and methods include a server configured to provide a web site application to a remote computing device over the Internet. The remote computing device receives user input to control a cursor. The web site application is configured to enable the remote computing device to display a plurality of color sheen chips on a display of the remote computing device, each color sheen chip representing a different color sheen. The web site application is configured to enlarge a particular color sheen chip of the plurality of color sheen chips on the display when the cursor hovers over the particular color sheen chip and to toggle the color sheen chip left and right when the cursor is moved back and forth over the particular color sheen chip.

    Abstract: An automated method and apparatus for providing color selection capability to a user wherein a first display is generated on a display apparatus of an array of color family groups disposed in a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns. Upon selection of a particular color family group, a second display is generated comprising an enlarged display of a particular selected color family group and a reduced size miniature version of the array of color family groups. A third display may further be generated in response to selection of a color chip on the second display during which generation a color chip selected on the second display is caused to appear in an enlarged form in the third display.
