Abstract: A tubular stent includes a stent body having a distal end and a proximal end, a covering surrounding at least a portion of the stent body and an adjustable annular ring secured to the stent body. The adjustable annular ring is configured to permit radial expansion of the adjustable annular ring while resisting radial compression of the adjustable annular ring.
