Abstract: A pneumatic tire includes rib-shaped land parts adjacent to each other with a circumferential groove therebetween, and raised-row-shaped projections projecting toward each other from both mutually opposed side wall surfaces of the adjacent rib-shaped land parts are provided to extend in the tread circumferential direction. As compared to a raised-row-shaped projection in an outermost-side circumferential groove located on a tire width direction outermost side, a raised-row-shaped projection in an inner adjacent circumferential groove located on tire width direction inner side of and adjacent to the outermost-side circumferential groove is formed at a shallower position near a tread surface between the tread surface and the groove bottom. As a result, it is possible to obtain suitable drainage properties according to the tire width direction positions of the circumferential grooves, while restraining an increase in rolling resistance, and to realize improved wet grip performance owing to an enlarged grounding area.

Abstract: A pneumatic tire including: on a tread of the tire, inclined belt layer and circumferential belt layer; and on the tread surface, a plurality of circumferential grooves extending in the tread circumferential direction, and shoulder land portions partitioned between the circumferential grooves located outermost in the tire width direction and tread ground contact ends. Positions of the tread surface that correspond to the outermost ends of the circumferential belt layer in the tire width direction are within the shoulder land portions, and the distance in the tire width direction between the outermost ends in the tire width direction of the circumferential belt layer and tire equator side ends of the shoulder land portions is 12% or more and 22% or less of a half of the width of the circumferential belt layer in tire width direction.

Abstract: A tire wear prediction system (100) is provided with a wear prediction unit (110) for predicting a wear state of a tire mounted at a predetermined wheel position of a vehicle based on the traveling state of the vehicle, a change history acquisition unit (120) for acquiring a change history including the rotation of the wheel position on which the tire is mounted or a content of replacement with another tire, and a wear state correction unit (140) for correcting a reference of the wear state of the tire predicted by the wear prediction unit (110) based on the change history. The wear prediction unit (110) predicts the wear state of the tire based on the reference of the wear state corrected by the wear state correction unit (140).

Abstract: A wear amount estimation device estimates plural kinds of wear energy depending on each of an internal pressure of aircraft tires, a load acting on the aircraft tires, a velocity of an aircraft, a slip angle caused in the aircraft tires, and a braking force of the aircraft, in accordance with each of these elements and wear energy EFR of the aircraft tires in a state of a free rolling run The wear amount estimation device estimates the wear amount wear of the aircraft tires in accordance with each of the calculated wear energy and a wear resistance R indicating a relationship between predetermined wear energy and a predetermined wear amount.

Abstract: This disclosure aims to achieve reduction in rolling resistance and ensure excellent steering stability. In this disclosure, a tire widthwise maximum width of a carcass is 1.35 W or less; a tire outer surface has a recess; within a second height range h2 and on the outer side in a tire radial direction with respect to bead cores, a radius of curvature of the carcass is 0.46 h or more; within a third height range h3, the radius of curvature of the carcass is 0.62 h or more; during movement of a virtual point from a bead core height position Hbc toward a third height position H3, a tire gauge at the virtual point is reduced by a reduction amount of 0.025×G0/mm or less; and the tire gauge at the virtual point at the third height position H3 is 10% or more of the tire widthwise maximum width of the bead core.
