    摘要: A heavy duty pneumatic tire includes a crown circumferential groove, a shoulder circumferential groove, crown lateral grooves, and crown blocks. The crown circumferential groove includes crown first-side vertexes and crown second-side vertexes and thus zigzags. The shoulder circumferential groove includes shoulder inner-side vertexes and shoulder outer-side vertexes. The crown lateral grooves are disposed at two pitch intervals of a zigzag of the crown circumferential groove and connect between the crown first-side vertexes and the shoulder inner-side vertexes. The crown blocks have crown sub-grooves having a groove width less than a groove width of the crown lateral groove. The crown sub-groove includes at least two transverse grooves extending across the crown block.

    摘要: A heavy truck tire tread that has a shoulder rib and shoulder groove is provided. A sipe is in the shoulder rib that extends from the shoulder groove to the lateral outer surface. A first end of a teardrop of the sipe is located at the lateral outer surface, and a second end at the shoulder groove. A middle section of the teardrop is located between the first and second ends in the lateral direction. A first transition is located between the first end and the middle section, and a second transition is located between the second end and the middle section and they both extend in the lateral and thickness directions. The entire middle section is farther from the upper surface in the thickness direction than any portion of the first or second ends are to the upper surface in the thickness direction.

    摘要: Provided is a rubber composition fora tire. Thirty parts by mass or more of carbon black having a CTAB adsorption specific surface area of 100 m2/g or less is blended into 100 parts by mass of a conjugated diene-based copolymer that includes from 20 mass % to 60 mass % of a first conjugated diene-based copolymer containing an isoprene component and from 40 mass % to 80 mass % of a second conjugated diene-based copolymer containing syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene. The syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene has a content of a crystallized component of 90% or more, a melting point of 130° C. or lower, and a glass transition temperature Tg of −20° C. or higher. A content a crystallized component in the second conjugated diene-based copolymer is 30 mass % or less.

The mean plot (M2) forms an angle (A1, A2) strictly greater than 90° with at at least two straight lines (T1, T2) tangential to the contour (8) respectively at two points (I1, I2) of the contour (8) that are positioned on either side of the mean plot (M2) and at a curvilinear distance (d1, d2) from the connection point (1) at most equal to 2 mm.
