Abstract:
A nail printing device includes a printing head, a memory and a processor. The printing head performs printing with respect to a nail surface. Based on a program stored in the memory, the processor determines whether a printing operation of the printing head satisfies a preset condition. If the processor determines that the printing operation of the printing head satisfies the preset condition, the processor continuously performs the printing operation. If the processor determines that the printing operation of the printing head does not satisfy the preset condition, the processor performs error handling processing which is different from the printing operation.
Abstract:
A drawing apparatus including a drawing head to which a drawing tool is mounted, the drawing tool drawing on a drawing object; a drawing testing portion having a drawing media on which an image is drawn by the drawing tool; and a control unit. The control unit interrupts drawing on the drawing object by the drawing tool and attempts drawing on the drawing media by the drawing tool in the drawing testing portion when the drawing on the drawing object by the drawing tool is not performed correctly.
Abstract:
A drawing apparatus includes an object insertion portion to which an object is inserted, the object being a finger or a toe having a nail; a light source unit configured to emit light to the nail of the object inserted into the object insertion portion; an image acquisition unit configured to acquire image data of the object with the nail illuminated by the light; and a control unit. The light source unit includes at least one light source disposed obliquely above the nail so that a shadow is formed near a border between the nail and a cuticle part on the root side of the nail by the light emitted from the light source. The control unit detects a position of the border based on the shadow and detects a region of the nail based on the position of the border.
Abstract:
A drawing apparatus includes an object mounting portion on which an object is mounted, the object being at least one finger or toe having a nail, and a processor. The processor detects an actual outline, which indicates an actual shape of an outer periphery of the nail, based on an image obtained by imaging the nail of the object mounted on the object mounting portion; creates an interpolation outline with respect to the actual outline other than a root portion of the nail, from the image, wherein the interpolation outline is an outline in which the actual outline is interpolated to eliminate a concavity in cases where the actual outline other than the root portion of the nail has the concavity; and determines whether or not the nail has a damaged portion on the basis of a comparison of the interpolation outline with the actual outline.
Abstract:
A light source unit includes an excitation light source, a plurality of light sources at least one of which emits a light ray in a wavelength band different from that of the excitation light source, a plurality of collimator lenses which make light rays from the light sources into parallel ones, a luminous light emitting device which receives the light ray from the excitation light source to emit a luminous light ray, a microlens array which diffuses the light rays from the light sources to a predetermined range and distributes the luminance thereof uniformly within the predetermined range and a collective lens which collects the light rays from the light sources which are emitted from the microlens array, and the light sources are disposed so that the light rays from the plurality of light sources intersect the light ray from the excitation light source at right angles.

Abstract:
A drawing device includes: an object placing part on which an object is placed, the object being a finger or a toe having a nail; a direction detection unit configured to detect an extended direction of a streaky pattern naturally-existing on a surface of the nail based on the image including the nail of the object placed on the object placing unit; an image processing unit configured to adjust a direction of a nail design based on the extended direction of the streaky pattern detected by the direction detection unit; and a nail design forming unit configured to form the nail design which is adjusted by the image processing unit on the nail.
Abstract:
A nail design device which allows a user to more easily select one of a plurality of nail designs that fits the shape of a nail, a nail printing apparatus which includes the nail design device and performs drawing on a nail, a nail design method, and a computer-readable recording medium storing a nail design program are provided. The nail printing apparatus 10 includes an analyzing unit 62 which derives a feature quantity of a nail based on a shape of the nail from an image including the nail, a judging unit 63 which judges whether at least one of a plurality of nail designs is suitable for the nail on the basis of a comparison between the feature quantity and design data, the design data being corresponding to the plurality of nail designs, and a display control unit 60 which causes at least one of the plurality of nail designs that has been judged to be suitable for the nail by the judging unit 63, to be displayed highlighted on a display unit 32 as a fitting nail design.
Abstract:
A nail printing apparatus is provided with a controlling unit for acquiring an end position on a tip side of a nail of a finger based on image data of an image of the finger, wherein the finger includes the nail having a nail tip portion and a nail back portion whose color is darker than a color of the nail tip portion. The controlling unit acquires luminance difference values which are difference in two of luminance values adjacent to each other in the image data, acquires a reference position where the luminance difference values represent a extreme value corresponding to a difference value between color of the nail tip portion and the nail back portion, and acquires the end position of the nail based on a position where the luminance difference values represent extreme value on the tip side from the reference position.
Abstract:
A printing apparatus includes at least one processor which detects color information on a region which is not coated with base and a base coated region which is coated with the base from an image of a nail, sets, in a relation between the base coated region and a desired design, a region which overlaps with the design in the base coated region as a design printing region in which the design is to be printed, sets a region which does not overlap with the design printing region in the base coated region as a nail color coating region which is to be coated with a nail color which is based on color information on the nail and thereby generates print data and a print head which performs printing on the nail in accordance with the print data.
