摘要: Intelligent systems are disclosed that respond to user intent and desires based upon activity that may or may not be expressly directed at the intelligent system. In some embodiments, the intelligent system acquires a depth image of a scene surrounding the system. A scene geometry may be extracted from the depth image and elements of the scene may be monitored. In certain embodiments, user activity in the scene is monitored and analyzed to infer user desires or intent with respect to the system. The interpretation of the user's intent as well as the system's response may be affected by the scene geometry surrounding the user and/or the system. In some embodiments, techniques and systems are disclosed for interpreting express user communication, e.g., expressed through hand gesture movements. In some embodiments, such gesture movements may be interpreted based on real-time depth information obtained from, e.g., optical or non-optical type depth sensors.

摘要: An activity recognition system may comprise a local device and a server. The local device may be configured to: obtain a video; determine whether at least one human is present in one or more frames of the video; in response to determining the at least one human present in the video, determine if the at least one human in each of the frames corresponds to the same person; in response to determining that the at least one human in each of the frames corresponds to the same person, determine if the person is a stranger; and in response to determining that the person is not a stranger, transmit at least a portion of the video to the server. The server may be configured to: predict an activity class associated with the person; and trigger an alarm based on the activity class.

摘要: Image classification system contains a CNN based IC configured for extracting features out of input data by performing convolution operations using filter coefficients of ordered convolutional layers and a classifier IC configured for classifying the input data using reduced set of the extracted features based on a light-weight classifier. Light-weight classifier is derived by: training filter coefficients of the ordered convolutional layers using a dataset containing N labeled data, the trained filter coefficients are for the CNN based IC; outputting respective extracted features of the N labeled data after performing convolution operations of ordered convolutional layers using the trained filter coefficients, each labeled data contains X features; creating the reduced set of the extracted features by eliminating those of the X features that contain zeros in at least M of the N labeled data; and adjusting M until the light-weight classifier achieves satisfactory results using the reduced set.

The gesture monitoring system receives plurality of sensor data from registered device worn on finger of both hands of a subject, determine parameters from plurality of sensor data, comprising magnitude change, turn angle change, direction change and time difference between consecutive samples of plurality of sensor data, determines one or more events associated with finger of both hands of subject by comparing parameters with pre-defined range of turn angle change, direction change and time difference, correlate one or more events of finger of both hands occurring at same time duration using predefined rules to identify sequences of intermediate gestures and identify one or more final gestures by correlating one or more sequences of intermediate gestures using the pre-defined rules for determining drug intake by subject.
