Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a telecommunication enclosure having a configuration that can be readily customized in the factory to satisfy customer specifications and can also be readily upgraded in the field. In certain examples, the telecommunication enclosure includes a main housing defining a plurality access ports. A plurality of different add-on components can selectively be coupled to the main housing at the access ports in sealed relation to the main housing. The add-on components can include visual indicators which are visible from outside the main housing when the add-on components are mounted to the main housing.

Abstract: A telecommunications enclosure system includes a terminal assembly including an optical terminal that mounts to a terminal mounting bracket via a mechanical coupling interface. The mechanical coupling interface includes a release actuator that allows the optical terminal to be released from the terminal mounting bracket by accessing the release actuator from a first side of the terminal assembly, and also allows the optical terminal to be released from the terminal mounting bracket by accessing the release actuator from an opposite second side of the terminal assembly.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to fiber management trays that have features such as cable management structures positioned on the tray in such a way that its bend radius does not fall below a minimum bend radius of fiber. A bend radius limiter is positioned adjacent a cable entry region, where the bend radius limiter includes a raised support member elevated with respect to a base such that the bend radius limiter is offset upwardly from the base to define a cable routing pathway beneath the raised support member from the cable entry region to a fiber loop-storage region. The base can include adapters in a group that is asymmetrically positioned relative to a longitudinal axis of the tray.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fiber management device or system for facilitating routing and storing optical fibers. The fiber management device includes a flexible, film-like substrate that has optical fiber management, storing functionality, and splicing functionality all on one film-like substrate. The flexible, film-like substrate can provide a routing path for routing optical fibers onto a flexible planar substrate that can be temporarily supported by, mounted on or attached to the flexible planar substrate. The flexible, film-like substrate can accommodate fibers that are in a multi-fiber (e.g., ribbon) configuration or a single fiber configuration.

Abstract: A sensor system detects activity at a fiber optic closure, including whether the fiber optic closure has been opened, or whether movable components within the closure are moved. An optical sensor capable of sensing mechanical movement, and an OTDR signal communicates the sensed movement to a remote location, such as a central office.

Abstract: A telecommunication component includes a cover that is sized and shaped to cover a stack area having an outer boundary. The telecommunication component includes a stack that includes a plurality of optical fiber splice trays pivotally connected to a tray support. The stack is movable between a stored position and an access position. When the stack is in the stored position, the plurality of optical fiber splice trays is positioned within the outer boundary of the stack area. When the stack is in the access position, at least one of the plurality of optical fiber splice trays is positioned at least partially outside of the outer boundary of the stack area.

Abstract: A fiber optic splice organizer includes a mounting bracket, and at least one tray of a first type attached to the mounting bracket. The first type of tray has a first length and an interior volume for storing fiber optic splices. At least one tray of a second type is attached to the mounting bracket. The second type of tray has a second length and an interior volume for storing a different quantity of fiber optic splices than the first type of tray. A modular extension is attachable to the first or second types of trays to increase their respective lengths.
