Abstract: The tire comprises a carcass reinforcement which extends into sidewalls. The tire is also provided with a protection device that protects against external attack. The protection device comprises a plurality of raised elements of height H that are arranged in the circumferential direction. The tire is also constructed such that each raised element is formed of at least two parts which are at least partially disjointed from one another along a separation zone. The separation zone is oriented substantially in the circumferential direction. Each part is able to come into contact with another part of the same raised element when one of the parts comes into contact with an external obstacle.

Abstract: Tire tread (1) is divided into central part (20) and edge parts (30), central part (20) having width Lc between 40% and 90% of total width W of the tread. Edge parts (30) do not have any transverse cuts. Central part (20) has a tread pattern with circumferentially oriented sipe (21) and transversely oriented sipes (22, 22′, 22″) distributed around the periphery of the tread, such sipes having a depth at least equal to 60% of thickness E of material to be worn away and being interconnected to form a network. Such sipes are continued by hidden channels (210, 220). Central part (20) is delimited axially by transverse sipes (22′, 22″), each of which ends in end channel (221′, 221″) that opens onto tread surface (10) and extends into the thickness of the tread, and each end channel (221′, 221″) is connected to the network formed by the hidden channels.

Abstract: Tire and tread for a vehicle for agricultural use having reduced attack to leading faces of tread bars, at axially outer ends thereof, by stubble remaining after harvest, thereby reducing risk of chunking of axially outer ends of the bars. The tire and tread has a plurality of bars, a bar having, in any axial plane (Pxy) parallel to the axis of rotation, a leading profile and a trailing profile. The angle (A) of the straight line (T) tangential to the leading profile at a point (M) on the leading profile, with respect to an equatorial plane (P), increases continuously, from an axially outermost point (E) of the leading profile, when the axial distance (L) between the point (M) and the point (E) increases, the angle (A) reaches a maximum value (Am) at a point of inflection (I) of the leading profile, and the radius of curvature (R) at any point (M) , positioned axially between the axially outermost point (E) and the point of inflection (I), is at least equal to 0.4 times the height of the bar.
