Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for detecting compaction and shear strength characteristics of an asphalt mixture during construction compaction. The method mainly includes the following steps: using a device for detecting compaction and shear strength characteristics of the asphalt mixture; pressing a test claw into the asphalt mixture during construction; rotating the test claw slowly and uniformly to measure an internal temperature and a shear characteristic of the mixture during paving and subsequent compaction; calculating a corresponding compaction detection index based on the shear characteristic; and monitoring and guiding the construction quality and construction process accordingly based on the real-time detection index. The present invention measures the compaction detection index of the asphalt mixture during compaction simply, quickly and accurately. The present invention uses the compaction detection index together with a degree of compaction for dual control of asphalt pavement compaction.

Abstract: Provided are a pavement coating material and a preparation method thereof. The method for preparing a pavement coating material, includes: S1, adding a film-forming aid to a pure acrylic emulsion and mixing, to obtain an organic material; S2, adding a silane coupling agent to a silica sol and mixing, to obtain an inorganic material; S3, adding a part of a dispersant and a nano-catalyst to deionized water and mixing, to obtain a catalyst aqueous solution; and S4, mixing the organic material and the inorganic material by stirring to obtain a mixed base material, adding the catalyst aqueous solution, a hollow microbead, titanium dioxide, and carbon black sequentially to the mixed base material and mixing, to obtain a mixture, and adding a remaining part of the dispersant and a defoamer to the mixture and mixing, to obtain the pavement coating material.

Abstract: A modeling method for an asphalt mixture by coupling a discrete element method (DEM) and a finite difference method (FDM). Aggregates of an asphalt mixture are processed by a DEM, and a finite difference method is used to implement continuous medium simulation of an asphalt binder in the asphalt mixture. The influence of the coupling of the DEM and the finite difference method on mechanical properties of the asphalt mixture such as the strength and modulus are considered, to implement simulation of the deformation, shrinkage, cracking, etc. of a multiphase material in the asphalt mixture under different load. The method can accurately restore a void structure and true shapes and sizes of the aggregates and a binder in the asphalt mixture, and can characterize distribution characteristics thereof.
