Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for adaptive disaster recovery of applications running on network devices. The techniques include generating an application template and an application template clone that include application attributes usable to deploy an application stack at an application site. The techniques also include sending the application template clone to a disaster recovery site group to await deployment instructions. In some examples, an observer may determine that a health metric of the application site indicates that a disaster recovery process be triggered. A disaster recovery site of the disaster recovery site group may be selected based at least in part on a performance metric. The application stack may be deployed at the disaster recovery site utilizing the application template clone.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a device, in communication with a plurality of data lake sites, receives a federated data lake query. The device determines a plurality of data lake operator sets that each correspond to one of the plurality of data lake sites, wherein each of the plurality of data lake operator sets is used to establish a respective data pipeline for the federated data lake query. The device selects a particular data lake site of the plurality of data lake sites as a destination for data pipelines that are established for the federated data lake query. The device sends the plurality of data lake operator sets that each correspond to one of the plurality of data lake sites to cause the plurality of data lake sites to send query results to the particular data lake site using the data pipelines, wherein the particular data lake site stitches the query results.

Abstract: In one implementation, a device determines a plurality of routes from one or more sources in a localized network domain to external addresses via a plurality of border leaf nodes of the localized network domain. The device selects, based on a specific performance test from a particular source of the one or more sources to a particular endpoint with a corresponding external address, a particular border leaf node of the plurality of border leaf nodes that is along a utilized route from the particular source to the particular endpoint based on the corresponding external address and the plurality of routes. The device causes the specific performance test to be executed from a particular testing agent installed on the particular border leaf node to the particular endpoint.

Abstract: Methods are provided for sustainably training artificial intelligent or machine learning models. Specifically, the methods involve obtaining power supply information about at least two computing resource groups. The power supply information relates to one or more power sources that supply power to the at least two computing resource groups. The methods further involve determining, while training an artificial intelligence or machine learning model using a current computing resource group of the at least two computing resource groups, an availability of power provided to the current computing resource group from one or more renewable energy sources, based on the power supply information and migrating the artificial intelligence or machine learning model for training using a different computing resource group than the current computing resource group, based on determining a lack of the availability of power provided to the current computing resource group from the one or more renewable energy sources.
