Abstract: The invention relates to a lever-type connector for facilitating the connection. The connector includes a housing on which a cable guide cover is mounted. A lever is rotatably mounted on the cable guide cover and displaces a slide. In the course of the rotation of the lever, the slide cooperates with the cable guide cover in order to maintain the cable guide cover on the housing with greater force and in a better-adapted manner.
