Abstract: A method and system for identifying product is disclosed. A product identifier having product identifying information for one of a plurality of consumable products is provided. The product identifier is selected for a consumable product. The product identifier is displayed at or near a location on a dispensing system, or where access to the consumable product is provided. The system uses a product identifier having product and/or brand information for one or more consumable products. A window is provided in a body of a dispenser or other member of a dispensing system for viewing the product identifier associated with the consumable product therein.

Abstract: An improved system that protects a vent membrane from a liquid is provided. The system includes a container and a fitment seated in the opening of the container. A vent having a vent membrane is associated with the fitment. An elongated dip tube extends from of the fitment into the container. A splash guard is disposed within the container and may connect to the elongated dip tube. The splash guard may have a plurality of ridges extending radially from an aperture. The splash guard may alternatively comprise a tiered configuration. In operation, the splash guard permits gasses to enter the container while minimizing exposure of the vent membrane to the liquid.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a splash guard to minimize potential contact between the chemical product and a vent membrane during transport and/or transfer of containers, thereby resulting in preservation of the integrity of a vent membrane during transport and/or transfer of a chemical product. The splash guard is affixed to the fitment and so can be removed from the interior of the container prior to transfer of the chemical product out of the container. The splash guard may be used with fitments of varied shapes, sizes and/or structures, and with containers of varied shapes, sizes and/or structures. The splash guard is easy and inexpensive to manufacture and easy to install, e.g., by snapping onto a ring (lower perimeter) of a fitment. For example, the splash guard covers the entire circumference of the neck of a container, and is formed of a moldable material that provides rigidity.
