Abstract: A wireless power transmitter that changes an operation frequency and an operation method of the same are provided. The operation method includes controlling the wireless power transmitter to operate at a first operation frequency included in an operation frequency set, changing an operation frequency of the wireless power transmitter from the first operation frequency to a second operation frequency that is different from an operation frequency of a second wireless power transmitter that is adjacent to the wireless power transmitter for every channel duration, and controlling the wireless power transmitter to operate at the second operation frequency.

A wireless power reception apparatus may include a reception circuit that is configured to wirelessly receive power having an extended frequency band and that includes a matching inductor with an adjusted inductance and a matching capacitor with an adjusted capacitance, and a processor configured to determine reception parameters related to a resonant frequency of the reception circuit based on transmission parameters and control the inductance and the capacitance based on the reception parameters, and the transmission parameters may be related to a variation in a transmission frequency at which the power is wirelessly transmitted.

The controller is configured to receive information of a wireless power receiver from the wireless power receiver, calculate a transmission parameter associated with a transmission efficiency of power to be provided to the wireless power receiver using the information of the wireless power receiver, and provide power to the wireless power receiver through the wireless power transmitters based on the transmission parameter.
