Disclosed herein are a method, an apparatus and a storage medium for processing a feature map. An encoding method for a feature map includes configuring a feature frame for feature maps, and generating encoded information by performing encoding on the feature frame. A decoding method for a feature map includes reconstructing a feature frame by performing decoding on encoded information, and reconstructing feature maps using the feature frame. A feature frame is configured using feature maps, and compression using a video compression codec or a deep learning-based image compression method is applied to the feature frame.

Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for providing 3D spatial data based on spatial random access. The method may include generating multiple groups of frames by grouping 3D spatial data based on an adjacent location in a space, compressing the 3D spatial data for each of the groups of frames, and encapsulating a compressed 3D spatial data bitstream for each of the groups of frames.

A radio resource allocation apparatus and method using an interference indicator in a femto-cell network are disclosed. The radio resource allocation apparatus using an interference indicator in a femto-cell network includes: an interference indicator obtaining unit obtaining any one or more of interference indicators including load information of a base station in the femto-cell network, a change amount of reference signal received power (RSRP) to reference signal received quality (RSRQ), and a channel quality indicator (CQI); a priority determining unit providing different weights to each of the interference indicators and determining an allocation priority of radio resources using the interference indicators to which the weights are provided; and a radio resource allocating unit allocating the radio resources to the base station in any one of a dedicated carrier mode, a partially shared carrier mode, and a shared carrier mode using the allocation priority.

Disclosed herein are a method for compressing a point cloud based on global motion prediction and compensation and an apparatus for the same. The method includes receiving 3D point cloud data configured with point cloud frames that represent continuous global motion; dividing the point cloud data into point cloud data segments using a histogram generated based on the Z-axis of the point cloud data; performing a global motion search based on an occupancy map for each of the point cloud data segments; and performing motion compression for the point cloud data based on the result of the global motion search performed for each of the point cloud data segments.
