Abstract: An outward-folding display device includes two flat casings adapted to be connected to a flexible display, and two hinge units connected between the casings such that the casings are convertible between unfolded and folded positions. Each of the hinge units includes two rotatable drive shafts, and two compensation subunits each including a rotating plate that is co-rotatably connected to a respective one of the drive shafts, and a driven plate that is slidable relative to the rotating plate and that is connected to a respective one of the casings, such that during conversion of the casings, the driven plate and the respective one of the casings slide relative to the rotating plate to prevent the flexible display from being stretched and damaged.

Abstract: A foldable display device includes a hinge, a housing shell unit and a display unit. The housing shell unit includes two housing shells connected with left and right sides of the hinge, two support plates respectively disposed on the housing shells, and a plurality of pairs of display rails defined between the housing shells and the support plates. Each housing shell has a base shell wall connected with the hinge. Each display rail has a rail groove. The display unit is securely disposed to the hinge, and is movably engaged in the rail grooves. The hinge is rotatable between an unfolded position and an outfolding position. During rotation of the hinge, the display unit is moved along the rail grooves.

Abstract: A hinge includes a rotating shaft, two pivoting parts, and a seat. The rotating shaft includes a friction section and a protruding section coaxially extending from the friction section. Each of the pivoting parts includes a connecting piece and a sleeve piece. Each sleeve piece is extended from an edge side of the corresponding connecting piece, and bent and wrapped to form a sleeve hole. Each sleeve piece is configured to be sleeved on the friction section, and the two sleeve pieces on the peripheral surface of the friction section are bent and wrapped in different directions respectively. The seat includes a shaft hole. The friction section and the sleeve pieces are jointly arranged in the shaft hole, the connecting piece is fixed on the seat, and the protruding section protrudes out of the seat.

Abstract: A hinge is mountable on a flexible display unit including a housing shell unit and a display unit. The hinge includes a base seat, a torsion module disposed above the base seat and secured to the display unit, and a bracket module disposed below the base seat. The torsion module includes two outer supporting units and an inner supporting unit at two ends and a middle of the base seat. The bracket module has two brackets securely connected to two support plates of the display unit and rotatable relative to the base seat. The hinge is rotatable between an unfolded position where the brackets are in an unfolded state, and an outfolding position where the brackets are close to and face each other. The outer and inner supporting units cooperatively define a semicircular-shaped supporting surface in the outfolding position for supporting the display unit.
