Abstract:
A hair fastening device includes a support for the gasping of a hand of a person, a plurality of teeth perpendicularly extended from one side of the support in a parallel manner for separating strands of hair, a plurality of serrated or wave-like anti-slip elements each situated on one tooth and extending along the length of the respective tooth, and a plurality of arched leaf springs, each having a serrated or wave-like configuration and attached to one tooth in proximity to one anti-slip element for clasping hair passing therebetween.
Abstract:
An electrode structure of a fuel cell for power generation comprises an anodic structure, a cathodic structure, and an ionic exchange membrane disposed between the anodic and cathodic structures. The anodic and cathodic structures respectively are formed by multi-layer structures, to reduce the fuel crossover from the anodic structure to the cathodic structure, to reduce the catalysts applied amount, and to increase an output electrical energy of the fuel cell. The multi-layer structure of the anodic structure comprises a thin platinum alloy black layer, a Pt alloy layer disposed on the carbon material, and a substrate.
Abstract:
An air purifier includes a vertically disposed housing provided with a wire gauze filter, electric fans and air filter elements. The electric fans draw outside air around the floor vertically into the bottom air intake port toward the top air output port of the housing so that the flow of air, when passed out of the air output port, flows upwards to a certain elevation and is then diffused and lowered in all directions around the housing. By means of the traction of the flow of air, the pressure difference of the convection of air between the low air pressure and the high air pressure at the bottom and top sides of the housing, high concentration of car waste gas, micro dust particles, hair dust, micro fibers and other harmful industrial odors that fall to the floor due to the effect of gravity or floating nearly above the floor are sucked into the inside of the housing by the low air pressure zone at the open bottom side of the housing and then removed by the filter elements.

Abstract:
A barrel-based white balance filter includes an opaque barrel attachable to a camera lens of a camera and a white balance component in the form of a milky white or gray filter having a milky white or gray annular rim and axially adjustably mounted in the opaque barrel so that the milky white or gray annular rim is protected by the opaque barrel against the radiation of vivid light or reflected light during a manual white balance operation when the white balance component is completely received in the opaque outer barrel, enabling the manual white balance system of the camera to measure the average white balance value of the viewing scene accurately.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for enhancing the utilization of catalysts in fuel cell, comprising catalysts, proton-exchanged ionic polymers, and coupling agents. The coupling agents are bonded to the catalysts or catalyst carriers by a B1 functional group and bonded to the proton-exchanged ionic polymers by a B2 functional group. The present invention also relates to a method for enhancing the utilization of catalysts in fuel cell, comprising the steps of (a) utrasonicating catalysts; (b) adding coupling agents to bond to the catalysts; (c) adding a perfluoro polymer to form a catalyst-coupling agent-perfluoro polymer complex whereby developing stable dispersion; wherein the coupling agents in step (b) are bonded to the catalysts by a B1 functional group and bonded to a perfluoro polymer by a B2 functional group. The present invention also provides a complex for enhancing the utilization of catalysts in fuel cell, comprising catalysts, coupling agents, and proton-exchanged ionic polymers, wherein the coupling agents are bonded to the catalysts by a B1 functional group and bonded to the perfluoro polymer by a B2 functional group to form a complex.
Abstract:
A toothed hair fastener having leaf-spring elements situated between one or more of the teeth of the fastener, and suitable for both thick and thin hair. Preferably, the leaf-springs are integrally formed as part of the toothed hair fastener.
Abstract:
