    Abstract: A method includes calculating a labor shortfall for completion of a set of tasks within a designated time period. The labor shortfall represents a difference between a required workforce that is needed to complete the tasks and an amount of available workforce. The available workforce personnel are subject to workforce constraints on how long the workforce personnel can work. The method also includes visually presenting an indication of the labor shortfall and automatically generating communication signals for available workforce personnel and/or additional workforce personnel.
