Abstract:
A method includes calculating a labor shortfall for completion of a set of tasks within a designated time period. The labor shortfall represents a difference between a required workforce that is needed to complete the tasks and an amount of available workforce. The available workforce personnel are subject to workforce constraints on how long the workforce personnel can work. The method also includes visually presenting an indication of the labor shortfall and automatically generating communication signals for available workforce personnel and/or additional workforce personnel. The communication signals request additional work on the set of tasks by the at least one of the available workforce personnel or the additional workforce personnel in excess of the one or more workforce constraints.
Abstract:
A method for assisting operators performing tasks on assets includes remotely monitoring locations of mobile electronic devices associated with performance of tasks on one or more assets by the operators, remotely monitoring progress of completion of the tasks, and, based on at least one of the locations that are monitored or the progress of completion of the tasks, at least one of: altering an order in which the tasks are to be completed to reduce at least one of a completion time or completion cost of the tasks, communicatively coupling the mobile electronic devices with one or more expert personnel to assist the operators in completing the tasks, or generating a visual presentation on at least one of the mobile electronic devices that illustrates at least one of progress or problems with completion of the tasks.
Abstract:
Systems and methods provide engineering process and document management to a mobile fleet of users. A server computer and a relational database form at least part of a process and document management system. The server computer processes information from the relational database to predictably identify workflow information and engineering document information that may be needed by one or more users in the field to service field assets. The server computer may push the identified information to one or more mobile devices of the one or more users in the field via one or more communication networks. The mobile devices allow users to mark-up engineering documents in the field and provide the modified documents back to the server computer.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of the invention relate to creating a schedule to assign one or more workers to a project on one or more dates based on project information and/or worker information. Resource data (e.g., workers, equipment, tools, among others) and project data (e.g., location, type, cost, client, lead time, parts needed, among others) can be evaluated by an aggregation component in which a manager component can create a schedule that includes at least one worker and an assignment to the project based on the evaluation of the resource data and/or the worker information.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of the invention relate to identifying a structure and a corresponding inspection for a portion of the structure and managing an appointment to perform the inspection with one or more inspectors. An evaluate component can analyze a set of inspection rules (e.g., user-defined, regulation-defined, defined by a type of structure, among others) for one or more structures, wherein a manager component can select one or more inspectors to perform the inspection.
