摘要: A vehicle body front structure includes left and right front side frames including at least left and right front bending portions, left and right middle bending portions, and left and right rear bending portions. The left and right front bending portions are bent to project inwards in a vehicle's width direction by a collision load exerted on a front end of a vehicle body, whereby the left and right front bending portions restrain a power unit. The left and right middle bending portions are situated spaced apart to the rear from the left and right front bending portions. The left and right rear bending portions are situated spaced apart to the rear from the left and right middle bending portions, are bent outwards in the vehicle's width direction, and absorb collision energy when struck by the power unit moved rearward together with the left and right front bending portions.

摘要: A vehicle body includes left and right front side frames extending in a vehicle front-to-rear direction. A power unit is disposed between the front side frames. Each of the left and right front side frames includes an inner frame disposed at a vehicle widthwise center side and an outer frame superposed on a vehicle outer side of the inner frame, and has a closed quadrangular sectional shape that is formed by the inner frame and the outer frame. A front portion of the outer frame has a triangular portion that has a substantially triangular shape whose width decreases from front to rear. Each front side frame has a power unit mount-fastening portion at a location rearward of the triangular portion.

摘要: A front-end structure for a vehicle is provided with: front side frames, a subframe extending across a vehicle body floor front portion to support a suspension component and an electric power steering device, the subframe being supported at least at the front end portion and at the rear end portion and being formed in a subframe main body from a light alloy casting, and a pair of left and right extension arms that are fixed to the subframe main body and extend forward of the subframe main body, and that are formed from a light alloy or steel by press-molding. In the rear portion of the extension arms in the vicinity the subframe main body, provided is a recessed portion that serves as a point at which downward bending starts midway along the lengthwise direction of the subframe with an input load in the event of a vehicle frontal collision.

A power unit is arranged on the front side of the sub frame in the vehicle body, and the power unit is supported by the pair of front side frames. A tilt surface is formed on the sub frame, and the tilt surface tilts to ascend toward the rear of the vehicle body. A rear portion of the power unit faces the tilt surface.
