Abstract:
A network node for a Data Communication Network (DCN) and a network device for providing traffic to the DCN are provided. The network node is configured to receive a plurality of packets carrying DCN messages; determine, from the received packets, a first set of packets addressed to other network nodes of the DCN. The network node is then configured to forward the first set of packets over a Time-Division-Multiplexing (TDM) connection, in particular over an Optical Data Unit-k (ODUk) connection, to a determined network node of the DCN. According to the application, a high bandwidth efficiency is maintained, and the number of interfaces to be managed on a controller is reduced.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a service path protection method, a controller, a device and a system. The method includes: receiving, by an end node of a protection path, a path selection instruction sent by an SDN controller, wherein the path selection instruction comprises a service path and protection path activation type, forwarding relationships respectively of a service path and the protection path in the end node; activating at least one forwarding relationship according to the service path and protection path activation type; and when a fault occurs in the service path, updating the at least one forwarding relationship according to the service path and protection path activation type. The embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies and resolve a problem that in an SDN technology, when a fault occurs in a service path, a protection path cannot be used.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a link discovery method. In the method, a first controller sends a first message to a first node, and the first node receives the first message, and sends the second link discovery packet from a first port to the second node; the second node receives the second link discovery packet at a second port, and sends a second message to the second controller according to the label, where the second message carries the second link discovery packet and an identifier of the second port; and the second controller receives the second message, extracts an identifier of the first port in the first link discovery packet and the identifier of the second port in the second message, and determines that a link exists between the first port of the first node and the second port of the second node.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and modem for adjusting a modulation mode. In embodiments of the present invention, a first modem generates indication information according to a current working first modulation mode, so that the first modem can send the indication information to a second modem through a data frame. Therefore, the second modem adjusts a current working second modulation mode of the second modem according to the indication information, so that the adjusted second modulation mode is consistent with the first modulation mode. Therefore, the problem of complex operations in the prior art, caused by that an operator configures a modulation mode of a second modem as a current working modulation mode of a peer modem, that is, a first modem, can be avoided, and efficiency of network deployment can be improved.
Abstract:
Embodiments of this application provide a data frame sending method and a network device. The method includes: A first node obtains routing label stack information of a first path, where the first path is used to transmit a service, and the routing label stack information indicates each node on the first path to establish a channel of the service on the node of the first path. The first node inserts the routing label stack information and service attribute information into a payload area of a first data frame, where the service attribute information indicates each node on the first path to configure a resource for the service. The first node sends the first data frame.
