Abstract:
A hard disk and methods for forwarding and acquiring data implemented by a hard disk. The hard disk includes: a storage module, configured to store data; an interaction interface, configured to implement data interaction between the hard disk and an external device; and a data control module, configured to control, by using the interaction interface, data interaction between the hard disk and the external device. In a process of performing backup implemented by the hard disk, a write data operation does not need to be performed on each backup hard disk when a server performs data backup by using the hard disk, which reduces operations performed by the server and releases resources of the server.

A network storage device is provided, where the network storage device includes a cabinet, a network switch, and a hard disk area, where the network switch and the hard disk area are installed inside the cabinet, the hard disk area includes at least one hard disk, each hard disk is fastened to the cabinet using a mounting bracket, each hard disk in the hard disk area and the network switch have a same type of interface, and the hard disk and the network switch are connected using a cable or a printed circuit board (PCB). Using the network storage device, a problem that storage density is limited is resolved, and expansion flexibility is high.

A hard disk apparatus and a computer system. The hard disk apparatus includes an interface module, a central processing unit (CPU), and a storage module. The interface module is connected to the CPU, and the CPU is connected to the storage module. The CPU communicates with a host using the interface module. The interface module is configured to receive a control instruction transmitted by the host, and transmit the control instruction to the CPU. The CPU is configured to receive the control instruction transmitted by the interface module, and control the storage module according to the control instruction. The CPU is further configured to acquire an execution result of the control instruction, and feed back the execution result to the host using the interface module.
Abstract:
A hard disk includes a manager, a managed component, a management interface a network interface, and a system on chip (SOC). The management interface receives an external management command. The manager performs an operation according to the received external management command on a managed component corresponding to the received external management command, and returns an operation result through the management interface to the cloud server. The network interface receive an external read/write operation command sent by the cloud server. The SOC performs a read/write operation according to the received external read/write operation command and returns a read/write operation result through the network interface.
