Abstract: A communication method and a communication apparatus, and the communication method may include: a first communication apparatus obtains first data, where the first data may be network measurement data; the first communication apparatus obtains second data in a first processing manner based on the first data, where the second data is partial data of the first data, the second data is used to obtain third data, and an error between the third data and the first data is less than or equal to a target threshold; and the first communication apparatus sends the second data to a second communication apparatus. Accordingly, overheads for reporting the network measurement data can be reduced and utilization of network resources can be improved.

Abstract: A mobile edge computing method and apparatus are provided. The method which is implemented by a mobile edge computing (MEC) management network element includes: receiving an MEC virtualization resource request sent by a control plane of a target radio access network (RAN), wherein the control plane belongs to the target RAN to which user equipment (UE) is handed over, and the MEC virtualization resource request includes an MEC computing resource requirement of the UE; creating, based on the MEC virtualization resource request, a new virtual machine (VM) on an MEC server for the UE, wherein the new VM is used on the target RAN side after the handover; and sending first information of the new VM to the control plane, wherein the first information includes an ID of the new VM. According to the application, the efficiency of usage of resources during a handover of UE is significantly improved.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication technologies, and provides a data query method, an apparatus, and a system, to expose terminal device-level or communication service-level radio network performance data. In the method, a first identifier and data type information from a third-party server are received, where the first identifier identifies a terminal device or a communication service outside an access network device. A second identifier is obtained based on the first identifier, where the second identifier identifies the terminal device or the communication service inside the access network device. Target radio network performance data is obtained based on the second identifier. The target radio network performance data is sent to the third-party server. According to the foregoing solution, the third-party server may request, via the first identifier, to query for the radio network performance data about the terminal device or the communication service.

Abstract: A management device sends a measurement identifier to a measurement device. The measurement identifier is associated with a to-be-measured target service corresponding to a data flow that passes through an industry terminal. The management device sends a measurement indication to the measurement device. The measurement indication indicates to the measurement device to measure a performance indicator of the target service associated with the measurement identifier, and the performance indicator of the target service is associated with an abnormal event of the target service. In this way, the measurement device can quickly recognize a to-be-measured service data packet based on whether a service is associated with the measurement identifier, to implement performance data collection at a finer granularity, thereby improving accuracy of fault diagnostic analytics.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide example fault location methods and example apparatuses. One example method includes receiving or determining, by a first network element, a performance indicator that is of a service flow of a terminal device and that is associated with an exception event of the service flow. The first network element sends the performance indicator of the service flow to the terminal device.
