Abstract: Technology for a user equipment (UE) configured for communication of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources is disclosed. The UE can decode a radio resource control (RRC) signal indicating an SRS to transmit with a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), wherein the PUCCH and the SRS are quasi co located (QCLed) based on a spatial received parameter. The UE can encode an SRS for transmission using the spatial received parameter. The UE can encode uplink control information (UCI) for transmission in the PUCCH using the spatial received parameter. The UE can have a memory interface configured to send to a memory the spatial received parameter.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for reserving radio resources for sidelink (SL) vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmissions are described. In embodiments, a user equipment may select to create an SL grant when a configuration indicates to transmit SL transmissions based on sensing using indicated resources. And when a number of consecutive unused transmission opportunities on the indicated resources is equal to a configured value, the UE may release all currently reserved radio resources, set a resource reservation interval, and select a set of resources spaced by the resource reservation interval as reserved resources for transmission of the one or more sidelink transmissions. Abstract: An electronic device for use in a machine type communication (MTC) relay device includes circuitry having: a receive signal path to receive data from at least one MTC device; and a transmit signal path to forward processed data, based on the data, to an evolved NodeB (eNB), wherein at least one of: (a) the data is received via Device-to-Device (D2D) sidelink; (b) the MTC relay device is a relay node and the data is received via a relaying link; or (c) the MTC relay device is a multi-radio access technology (multi-RAT) capable small cell device and the data is received via WiFi, Bluetooth, Long-Term Evolution-Unlicensed (LTE-Unlicensed), or mmWave communication.
