Abstract: The disclosure relates to a locking device (1) for locking two components. The locking device (1) having a first device part (1.1) for attachment to the first component and a second device part (1.2) for attachment to the second component. The first device part (1.1) having a locking recess (4) and the second device part (1.2) having a correspondingly formed movably mounted locking element (5). The locking element (5) engaging in the locking recess (4) in a locking position (VS), thereby locking the two parts (1.1, 1.2) of the device together. A drive assembly is coupled to the locking element (5) and configured to move the locking element (5) from the locking position (VS) to a release position (ES) in normal operation (B) in which the locking element (5) does not engage the locking recess (4) thereby releasing the two parts (1.1, 1.2) of the device from each other. An emergency release device is capable of being manually actuated by means of an emergency actuator (7). The emergency release device is capable being configured to move the locking element (5) in an emergency operation (NotB) from the locking position (VS) to the release position (ES). In normal operation (B), the emergency actuator (7) is decoupled from movements of the drive assembly and the locking element (5).
