    摘要: An electric lock device for an opening and closing member includes: a lock portion; a rod; a biasing member; and an actuator. The actuator includes a case, a motor, a wheel, and a rotor. The wheel is provided with a pressing portion that is configured to engage with a receiving portion provided on the rotor or the rod when the wheel rotates in a predetermined direction to move the rod. When a rotation force is applied to the rotor in a direction against a biasing force of the biasing member via the rod in a state where the rod is biased by the biasing member in a direction in which the rod is engaged with the lock portion, the rotor is capable of rotating independently of the wheel in a direction in which the receiving portion is separated from the pressing portion.

    摘要: A vehicle glove box latch includes a housing, a paddle pivotably connected to the housing, a rotor pivotably connected to the housing, a pawl coupled to the rotor and having an end that is engaged with an opening in the vehicle, and a lock barrel mounted to the housing for locking and unlocking the vehicle glove box latch. In a locked state of the lock barrel, the pawl cannot be disengaged from the opening in the vehicle. In an unlocked state of the lock barrel, the pawl can be disengaged from the opening for opening the vehicle glove box. The lock barrel, the rotor and the rotor mounting portion are concentrically aligned along an axis, which reduces the depth of the latch, which reduces the space in the glove box necessary for accommodating the latch, thereby resulting in an increase in the available storage space in the glove box.

    摘要: A glove compartment lock device includes: a base member attached to a glove compartment; a knob member supported by the base member so as to be rotatable around a shaft portion between a closed position and an opened position; an arm member supported at a center portion in a longitudinal direction thereof by the base member so as to be swingable between a locked position and an unlocked position of the glove compartment and configured to come into contact with the knob member at one end portion thereof; and a spring member locked at one end portion thereof to the knob member, locked at another end portion thereof to another end portion of the arm member, and configured to generate a biasing force that rotates the knob member to the closed position and swings the arm member to the locked position.     摘要: A latch assembly for closing a door of a glovebox compartment includes a key cylinder having an eccentric shaft; a striker connected to the key cylinder to form a scotch-yoke connection to the eccentric shaft so that a rotation of the key cylinder is transformed to a linear movement of the striker; and a pair of latching members to lock the door. The pair of latching members includes a first latching member having an operation portion to engage or disengage from the striker, and a second latching member connected to the first latching member to simultaneously move with the first latching member. The key cylinder rotates to switch between an unlocked state in which the striker engages the operation portion and a locked state in which the striker is disengaged from the operation portion.
