    Abstract: A terminal board assembly for an electric motor is described. The terminal board assembly is configured to mount inside an electric motor terminal or conduit box and includes a terminal board and a mounting bracket. The terminal board includes six terminal studs and three connecting bars extending between the terminal studs. Quick connect spade type connectors are coupled to the six terminal studs adjacent the bottom of the terminal board to facilitate quick and easy connection of the wire connection leads of an electric motor. The terminal studs and connecting bars permit a choice of “Y” or “Delta” voltage connections to the electric motor. The terminal board also includes a first and a second slot positioned at, and parallel to, opposing ends of the board. The mounting bracket includes a base portion and first and second side portions depending from opposing ends of the base portion. An engaging portion extends from each side portion and is configured to extend through the slots positioned at the opposing ends of the terminal board. Each engaging portion includes a retaining tab configured to engage the terminal board. The base portion of the mounting bracket includes at least one mounting opening for attaching the bracket to the electric motor conduit box.

The lead guard defines a space within the motor housing into which a conductor may be routed.     Abstract: A motor has a shell formed to include an edge defining an opening that is either U-shaped or rectangular. A reversible apparatus has segments for mounting an overload protector having first and second body portions within the opening in the motor shell. The apparatus has a first profile for mounting the overload protector within a U-shaped opening in a motor shell so as to restrict movement of the mounting apparatus and overload protector assembly relative to the motor shell, and a second profile for mounting the overload protector within a rectangular opening in a motor shell so as to restrict movement of the mounting apparatus and overload protector assembly relative to the motor shell.     Abstract: A bushing for mounting an overload protector within an opening in a motor shell comprises segments adapted to be coaxially positioned around a portion of the overload protector. Mating features formed on the segments and protector restrict movement of the protector relative to the segments. Grooves formed on the segments secure the segments within the opening and restrict movement of the bushing and protector assembly relative to the structure. The bushing preferably comprises a pair of generally symmetrical segments connected together by an integrally formed hinge. The one-piece bushing is molded from a thermoplastic material, such as nylon. In one embodiment, the features which restrict axial movements of the overload protector relative to the segments are mating threads formed on a portion of the internal surfaces of the segments, and on opposing portions of the external surface of the protector. In an alternative embodiment, a structure is formed on and extends from the segments, and at least partially surrounds the overload protector to secure the protector against opposing portions of the bushing. A portion of each of the segments extends outwardly from the exterior surface of the motor shell so as to shield an exposed end portion of the overload protector from damage. A gasket may be mounted to this portion of the bushing to protect the overload assembly from dust and contamination.
