Abstract: First electrodes are formed on an insulation surface in such a manner that the adjacent first electrodes are connected in a first direction and are separated in a second direction intersecting the first direction. Second electrodes are formed on an insulation surface in such a manner that the adjacent second electrodes are connected in the second direction and are separated in the first direction. Third electrodes are formed in regions in which the third electrodes overlap with the first electrodes and do not overlap with the second electrodes in such a manner that the adjacent third electrodes are connected in the second direction and are separated in the first direction. A flexible insulation layer is formed between the first electrodes and the third electrodes. An area of each of the third electrodes is less than an area of each of the first electrodes.

Abstract: A touch sensor includes first electrodes which are driving electrodes of the touch sensor, second electrodes which are detecting electrodes of the touch sensor, third electrodes, and an insulating film which is stacked on the first electrodes. Each of the first electrodes extends in a first direction. Each of the second electrodes and each of the third electrodes are formed on the insulating film, and extend in a second direction. The second electrodes overlap with partial regions of the first electrodes, and the third electrodes overlap with other partial regions of the first electrodes and are formed in gaps between the second electrodes. A film thickness of the insulating film between the first electrodes and the third electrodes varies due to pressing force in a film thickness direction, and the insulating film constitutes the electrostatic capacitance-type pressure sensor with first electrodes and the third electrodes.

Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixel electrode over the substrate, a bank covering an end portion of the pixel electrode and exposing a part of the pixel electrode, an organic layer over the pixel electrode and the bank, and a common electrode over the organic layer. A thickness of the organic layer disposed on the inclined surface of the bank in a direction perpendicular to the inclined surface of the bank is equal to or smaller than 1/10 of a thickness of the organic layer disposed on the pixel electrode in a direction perpendicular to the upper surface of the pixel electrode.
