Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to collapsible hood for a heating and cooling system that includes a plurality of panels configured to couple to a housing of the heating and cooling system, wherein the plurality of panels is configured to be translated between a collapsed position and an open position, wherein the plurality of panels is substantially flush against the housing in the collapsed position to configure the heating and cooling system for transportation, and wherein the plurality of panels are configured to extend from the housing to protect openings in an air intake of the housing and to allow passage of air through the air intake in the open position.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include a drive belt tensioner configured to adjust tension in a drive belt of a blower assembly for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. The drive belt tensioner includes a mounting bracket configured to couple directly to a blower housing that is configured to house a blower of the blower assembly. The drive belt tensioner further includes an idler pulley configured to contact the drive belt. A position of the idler pulley is adjustable relative to the mounting bracket to enable adjustment of the tension in the drive belt.

In the closed position, each louver panel of the plurality of louver panels is configured to permit airflow between an interior of the housing and an ambient environment. In the open position, each louver panel of the plurality of louver panels is configured to permit increased airflow between the interior of the housing and the ambient environment when the louver panel is in the open position.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system including an exhaust plenum configured to receive an exhaust air flow from a cooling load. The HVAC system also includes a condenser configured to receive an input air flow and transfer thermal energy to the input air flow. A panel is positioned directly adjacent to and between the exhaust plenum and the condenser. The panel includes a passage providing a fluid flow path directly between the exhaust plenum and the condenser. The passage is configured to discharge a portion of the exhaust air flow, and the input air flow includes the portion.
