    Abstract: An ultrasound image processing method including: calculating motion amounts of pixel regions in one frame receive signal, based on receive signal units corresponding to identical pixel regions included in at least two frame receive signals; calculating cumulative motion amounts, each corresponding to a target pixel region in the one frame receive signal, by cumulating motion amounts corresponding to pixel regions in the one frame receive signal located substantially along a direction of transmission of the ultrasound beam from a pixel region located at an upstream end of an ultrasound beam to the target pixel region; calculating enhancement amounts for receive signal units corresponding to the pixel regions included in the one frame receive signal, the enhancement amounts being based on the motion amounts and the cumulative motion amounts; and enhancing the receive signal units based on the enhancement amounts.

    Abstract: An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus includes: a transmission/reception part that sequentially supplies a drive signal to each of a plurality of ultrasound transducers, and receives and processes a reception signal output from each of the plurality of ultrasound transducers; and a hardware processor that: converts sampling data of each of positions into pixel values, and generates a first ultrasound image; upscales the first ultrasound image in accordance with a predetermined sample number increase magnification, and thereafter applies resolution enhancement processing on the first ultrasound image and thereby generates a second ultrasound image; converts the second ultrasound image into a display image; and controls transmission/reception conditions of the transmission/reception part so that an image size of the second ultrasound image becomes close to an image size of the display image, on the basis of the image size of the display image and the sample number increase magnification.

    Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes a transmitter, a receiver and a hardware processor. The transmitter outputs a drive signal for a C-mode image to an ultrasound probe. The receiver obtains a reception signal from the probe. The processor sets at least one mask in a frame of packet data of the reception signal; calculates a covariance matrix from a plurality of packet data included in the mask; calculates an eigenvector for the mask from the covariance matrix; calculates a first filter coefficient for the packet data by using the eigenvector and a gain matrix; performs interpolation on the first filter coefficient to calculate a second filter coefficient for packet data of each position in the frame; filters the packet data of the position by using the second filter coefficient; and generates C-mode image data from the filtered packet data.

    Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic device generates a frame reception signal by compounding sub-frame reception signals acquired from a subject body through an ultrasound probe. The sub-frame reception signals are generated through sub-scans composing an ultrasound scan. Between the sub-scans, a range in the scanned subject body differs due to a different ultrasound beam steering angle used. The diagnostic device includes a control circuit with a reception signal acquirer acquiring sub-frame reception signals, and a map creator creating sub-frame enhancement maps corresponding to the sub-frame reception signals, the maps created by calculating, for a pixel region reception signal, an enhancement amount according to a characteristic value calculated based on the pixel region reception signal. The diagnostic device also includes an enhancement-applied reception signal generator generating an enhancement-applied frame reception signal by compounding pixel region reception signals considering the enhancement amount included in at least one sub-frame enhancement map.
