An image forming apparatus includes a communication unit, a scanning unit, an issuing unit, a storage unit, an information receiving unit, an identification unit, an authentication unit, and a communication control unit. The image data number issuing unit issues a unique image data number for image data. A user inputs the image data number of the image data, cloud information, a login ID, and a password into an external terminal. The external terminal transmits the input content to the image forming apparatus. The login authentication unit performs authentication on a cloud identified by the target cloud identification unit using the transmitted login ID and password. When login is successful, the upload control unit transmits the image data of the image data number to the cloud.
Abstract:
An operation device includes a screen display section that displays a login screen on a touch panel, a key position changing section, a key information reception section, and a key information determination section. The key position changing section changes positions of a plurality of keys that are displayed on the login screen such that the keys are displayed for a current login process at positions that are different from previous positions at which the keys were displayed for a previous login process. The key information reception section generates input information representing a key pressed on the login screen. The key information determination section allows login of a user when a combination of pieces of input information corresponding to a plurality of key presses performed by the user matches registration information and does not allow login of the user when the combination does not match registration information.

An electronic device includes an image reading section, a marker detection section, and a processing section. The marker detection section analyzes image data and detects a first marker portion indicated in the image data and a second marker portion indicated in the image data in a mode different from a mode of the first marker, and also extracts texts indicated in the first marker portion and the second marker portion. The processing section performs processing of transmitting the image data where the text indicated in the first marker portion is defined as a file name of the image data and the text indicated in the second marker portion is defined as a transmission address to which the image data is transmitted.
