Abstract:
The instant disclosure relates to anhydrous hair-treatment compositions. The anhydrous hair-treatment compositions typically include one or more bis-urea derivatives, hydrophobic silica aerogel, and one or more solvents, for example, ester oils and non-ester oil solvents. Additional components such as silicones, etc., can also be included. Kits comprising the hair-treatment compositions and methods of using the hair-treatment compositions are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A hair treatment composition in a cationic system includes water and a novel association of polysaccharide, such as inulin, a wax, such as, candelilla wax, a cationic surfactant, such as, behentrimonium chloride, and a film-forming polymer, such as polysilicone-29. The composition may include one or more additional components selected from fatty compounds, cationic polymers and styling polymers, embodied to deliver one or more of smoothing, straightening and curling/curl defining style features to achieve a particular straight or curly style with frizz control, softness and manageability.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a cleansing composition containing: (a) at least one anionic surfactant; (b) at least one amphoteric surfactant; (c) at least one amphoteric polymer; (d) at least one acrylate copolymer; (e) at least one water-soluble silicone; (f) at least one alcohol ester, and wherein the composition is clear in appearance and free of cationic polymer.

Abstract:
The instant disclosure relates to hair-treatment compositions. The hair-treatment compositions typically include: one or more polyurethane latex polymers; one or more thickening agents; one or more water-soluble solvents; and water. Additional components such as silicones, emulsifiers, surfactants, cationic polymers, etc., can also be included. The instant disclosure also relates to kits that include the hair-treatment compositions and to methods for treating hair with the hair-treatment compositions.
Abstract:
Disclosed are compositions for washing, cleansing, and/or conditioning keratinous substrates, comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium: a) at least one anionic film-forming polymer chosen from polymers and copolymers of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and/or mixtures thereof; b) at least one ampholytic polymer having at least one acrylic acid moiety and a cationic charge density ranging from greater than 1 meq/g up to about 3.5 meq/g; and c) at least one surfactant base; wherein the at least one anionic film-forming polymer and the at least one ampholytic polymer form an association; and wherein the pH of the composition ranges from about 5 to about 7. Also disclosed are processes for washing, cleansing, and/or conditioning keratin substrates using the composition, and processes for imparting volume to the hair.
