    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a display device and a method for manufacturing thereof and, in more detail, can provide a display device capable of delaying a time for penetration of moisture and oxygen into a display region. The display device includes a substrate having a display region displaying an image using a plurality of subpixels and a non-display region surrounding the display region, a metal layer disposed on the substrate; a protective layer disposed on the metal layer; and an undercut area disposed along a boundary between the display region and the non-display region, the undercut area including an undercut structure in which an edge of the protective layer protrudes further than a side of the metal layer or a side of the protective layer below the portion.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an organic light emitting display device which comprises a plurality of sub-pixels each of which comprises an OLED, a driving TFT, a first TFT for applying a data voltage to a gate electrode of the driving TFT, a second TFT for applying a reference voltage to a source electrode of the driving TFT, and a storage capacitor, a data driver for outputting the data voltage to a data line and the reference voltage to a reference line, and a gate driving unit for outputting signals to a first gate line connected to the gate electrode of the first TFT and a second gate line connected to the gate electrode of the second TFT, wherein two adjacent sub-pixels emitting a same color is supplied with the data voltages through different data lines and share the first gate line and the second gate line.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display and a method of sensing deterioration of the same are discussed. The organic light emitting display includes a display panel including a plurality of display lines, each of the display lines in which a plurality of pixels are arranged, each of the pixels including a light emitting element and a driving element, a panel driver configured to supply a gate signal and a data voltage synchronized with the gate signal to the pixels of the display lines, a sensing unit configured to sense driving characteristics of the pixels, and a timing controller configured to control operation timings of the panel driver and the sensing unit, and overlappingly shift a sensing driving sequence for at least some display lines in accordance with a line sequential manner.

    Abstract: A display device in one example includes an emitting area located in an active area, a non-emitting area located in the active area, a metal layer located in the non-emitting area, an active layer located in the non-emitting area, a light shield located in the non-emitting area, and a low reflective layer located in the non-emitting area so that at least a portion of the low reflective layer overlaps the light shield. Thus, the display device has a low reflectivity, and it is possible to prevent degradations in the display quality due to parasitic capacitance.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an organic light emitting display in which a sensing period during which the source voltage of the driving TFT is raised toward a data voltage applied to a gate electrode of the driving TFT in order to compensate a change in mobility of the driving TFT, a first gate signal is maintained at an ON level and a second gate signal is maintained at an OFF level, and the first and second gate signals are maintained at an OFF level in a light emission period following the sensing period; and a first falling time of the first gate signal and a second falling time of the second gate signal, which indicate a period of time required to change from the ON level to the OFF level, are set to be longer than a predetermined reference value, respectively.
