Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a light source module that includes a substrate, a plurality of light barriers on a surface of the substrate and spaced apart from each other, a plurality of light source packages on the surface of the substrate and positioned between the plurality of light barriers, and a total-reflection induction layer on the plurality of light source packages. The total-reflection induction layer has a flat surface opposite the plurality of light source packages. According to the various embodiments provided herein, the amount of light incident on a light guide plate increases, and a heat radiation effect is improved.
Abstract:
In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides display devices and methods of manufacturing display devices that can be slimmer than typical display devices. In one embodiment, such a display device includes a first substrate formed of glass, a light source disposed at a position that corresponds to at least one surface of the first substrate, a first resin layer on the first substrate, a first polarizing layer on the first resin layer, a liquid crystal layer on the first polarizing layer, a second substrate on the liquid crystal layer, the second substrate including a plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines, and a second polarizing layer on the second substrate.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a display device having a slim and narrow structure. The display device comprises a liquid crystal panel; a light source for providing light to the liquid crystal panel; a light guide of a glass material, wherein the light source is combined with one side of the light guide; a reflector formed on at least one of both surfaces of the light guide; and an adhesive member formed on one surface of the light guide confronting the liquid crystal panel, and provided to attach the liquid crystal panel and the light guide to each other.
