    Abstract: A motor housing assembly for cooling a motor assembly is disclosed. The motor housing assembly includes a stator and a rotor. To reduce a weight and a manufacturing cost, the motor housing assembly includes an aluminum housing coupled to an outer circumferential surface of a motor assembly and configured to form a first space between the aluminum housing and the motor assembly, the first space including an oil flow channel and a plastic housing coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the aluminum housing and configured to form a second space between the plastic housing and the aluminum housing, the second space including a water flow channel.

    Abstract: A valve actuator includes a motor and a gear assembly that receives driving force of the motor and controls a valve. In the gear assembly, a power transmission gear for transmitting rotational force of an input gear to an output gear includes a selective power transmission unit. When the output gear is in physical contact with a stopper, the power transmission gear transmits the rotational force of the input gear to the output gear is blocked. Accordingly, even after the valve is actuated to close a path, the rotational force of the input gear is not transmitted to the output gear even though the motor is continuously driven.

    Abstract: A gear system is provided to secure lubrication passages when the gear system is changed between driving, neutral, and parking modes. The gear system includes a planetary gear assembly, a hollow portion output shaft selectively engaged with a carrier such that the output shaft is configured to rotate with the carrier when the output shaft is engaged with the carrier. The gear system further includes a first lubrication passage formed radially at a first point on the carrier, a second lubrication passage formed radially at a second point on the output shaft, and a third lubrication passage formed between the outer surface of the output shaft and the inner surface of the carrier and configured to connect the first lubrication passage and the second lubrication passage.

    Abstract: A valve actuator includes a motor and a gear assembly including an input gear rotated by driving force of the motor, an output gear receiving rotational force of the input gear, and at least one power transmission gear transmitting the rotational force of the input gear to the output gear. The valve actuator further includes a valve output shaft actuated to close a path of a valve, and a selective power transmitter selectively transmitting the rotational force of the output gear to the valve output shaft. The selective power transmitter includes a cam portion provided in at least one of the output gear and the valve output shaft. Accordingly, after the valve is actuated to close the path, the driving force of the motor is not transmitted to the valve output shaft.

    Abstract: A gear system is disclosed. The gear system has a structure in which oil churned by a gear is dispensed to at least one of a hollow space or a bearing, thereby effectively lubricating components. For example, the gear system includes a first shaft comprising a hollow space, a first gear arranged at an outer circumference of the first shaft, a second gear externally engaged with the first gear, a bearing arranged at the outer circumference of the first shaft, a housing surrounding the first gear and the second gear, and an oil guide plate disposed between the first shaft and the housing to dispense oil churned by the second gear to the hollow space of the first shaft and the bearing coupled to the first shaft.
