Abstract: Disclosed are an artificial intelligence learning method and an operating method of a robot using the same. An on-screen label is generated based on image data acquired through a camera, an off-screen label is generated based on data acquired through other sensors, and the on-screen label and the off-screen label are used in learning for action recognition, thereby raising action recognition performance and recognizing a user's action even in a situation in which the user deviates from a camera's view.

Abstract: A method of operating a first electronic device, the method including receiving an identifier of a second electronic device from the second electronic device via a communication link formed by a first communication carrier; checking whether the second electronic device is pre-registered based on the received identifier of the second electronic device; transmitting, when the second electronic device is not pre-registered according to a result of the checking, a first handover request message including alternative carriers to the second electronic device, wherein the alternative carriers are supported by the first electronic device and are listed by priority in the first handover request message; receiving a handover selection message including a second communication carrier, wherein the second communication carrier is supported by the second electronic device and is selected among the alternative carriers; forming a communication link with the second electronic device through the second communication carrier; and storing the second communication carrier matching with the second electronic device.

Abstract: A robot and operation method is disclosed. The robot according to the present disclosure may include a sensor, a microphone, and a controller. The robot may execute an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm and/or a machine learning algorithm, and may communicate with other electronic devices in a 5G communication environment. An embodiment may include detecting a movement of the robot to a location; detecting an obstacle within a predetermined range from the robot; estimating an occupation area of the obstacle in space; and identifying a sound signal received from the estimated occupation area of the obstacle from among a plurality of sound signals received by a plurality of microphones of the robot at the location.
