    Abstract: A lawn mowing robot includes a body, a driving unit driven such that the body moves within an operation region, and a controller setting first information related to at least one reference line using coordinate information corresponding to vertices included in a polygon forming an operation region and setting second information related to a plurality of regions such that the operation region is divided into the plurality of regions using the first information, wherein the controller controls the driving unit such that the body moves according to a preset movement pattern by the plurality of divided regions using the second information.

    Abstract: A method for identifying a moving object in a three-dimensional space and a robot for implementing same is provided. The robot includes a sensing module for calculating height and position information of an object by using two or more sensing units; a movement unit for moving the robot; a map storage unit for storing a three-dimensional map including the height and position information of the object, calculated by the sensing module, in a space in which the robot is moving; and a control unit for controlling the sensing module, the movement unit, and the map storage unit, converting the height and position information of the object calculated by the sensing module into global coordinates, storing, in the three-dimensional map, the height and position information of the object converted into the global coordinates, and removing, from the three-dimensional map, a moving object among objects stored in the map storage unit.

    Abstract: A moving robot is provided. The moving robot includes a body, first and second driving wheels configured to move the body, first and second caster wheels installed movably, first and second sensors configured to respectively detect a rotation angle of the first caster wheel and a rotation angle of the second caster wheel with respect to a predetermined direction axis, and a controller configured to control driving of a driving wheel according to the rotation angles. The controller calculates an average rotation angle by using the rotation angles detected by the first and second sensors and controls driving of the driving wheel by using the calculated average rotation angle.
