Abstract: The present disclosure provides a moving robot including a body which forms an appearance, a traveler which moves the body with respect to a traveling surface in a traveling area, a sensing unit which acquires environment information of the traveling area, and a controller which sets a parameter tailored to the traveling area according to the environment information and performs pattern traveling of the traveling area. Accordingly, even when information on an environment in which the moving robot is installed is not obtained from a manufacture in advance, the moving robot can directly obtain information on the corresponding environment and set an optimum parameter according to the environment to increase efficiency.

Abstract: A method for identifying a moving object in a three-dimensional space and a robot for implementing same is provided. The robot includes a sensing module for calculating height and position information of an object by using two or more sensing units; a movement unit for moving the robot; a map storage unit for storing a three-dimensional map including the height and position information of the object, calculated by the sensing module, in a space in which the robot is moving; and a control unit for controlling the sensing module, the movement unit, and the map storage unit, converting the height and position information of the object calculated by the sensing module into global coordinates, storing, in the three-dimensional map, the height and position information of the object converted into the global coordinates, and removing, from the three-dimensional map, a moving object among objects stored in the map storage unit.

Abstract: A moving robot is provided. Additionally, in the water purifier, the water discharge module discharges purified water at a point spaced a certain distance apart from the inlet of the container, to prevent the inlet of the container from contacting the lower surface of the water discharge module.
