Abstract:
An axial fan for an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided. The axial fan may include at least one blade connected to a hub. The at least one blade may include a blade inner portion, a blade outer portion provided outside of the blade inner portion in a radial direction, and a blade connector that connects the blade inner portion and the blade outer portion as a curved surface, thereby improving noise and increasing an air volume.
Abstract:
Provided is an indoor unit of an air conditioner, and the indoor unit includes: a case installed indoors and having an outlet formed in a front or bottom thereof; and a vane module disposed at the case and guiding a flow direction of air discharged from the outlet, and the vane module includes: a first vane disposed in the outlet and rotatably installed on a forward side of a discharge direction of discharged air; a second vane disposed in the outlet and rotatably installed; two motor coupling parts disposed at both ends of the first vane and the second vane, respectively, wherein two motors each have at least a portion of which is exposed to the outlet; a vane motor assembled with at least one of the two motor coupling parts and providing a driving force; a drive link assembled to be rotatable rotatably to the motor coupling part, rotated by the driving force of the vane motor, and transmitting the driving force to the first vane and the second vane; a first vane link assembled to be relatively rotatable with the drive link and the motor coupling part on a forward side of the drive link to thereby rotate the first vane; and a second vane link assembled to be relatively rotatable with the drive link and the motor coupling part on a forward side of the drive link to thereby rotate the second vane, and the first vane link and the second vane link are assembled in a line with the drive link on a forward side of the drive link. Accordingly, a size of the vane itself may be maximized by minimizing a space occupied by a drive module.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an air conditioner that suppresses generation of leakage vortices between a fan and a shroud. An air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an axial fan for blowing air; a shroud partially surrounding a circumference of the axial fan to guide air blown by the axial fan; and a fence ring provided in an inner surface of the shroud and protruding in a radial direction from the inner surface of the shroud. In addition, the fence ring is disposed between a downstream end of the axial fan and a downstream end of the shroud.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner. The outdoor unit of the air conditioner according to the present disclosure includes: a cabinet including perimeter surfaces disposed vertically in four directions, respectively, and an upper surface disposed on an upper side thereof that is perpendicular to each of the perimeter surfaces, with suction ports and a discharge port, the suction ports being formed in two surfaces that are formed in a first direction and a second direction opposite to each other and one surface that is formed in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction, respectively, among the perimeter surfaces, and the discharge port being formed in the upper surface; a heat exchanger disposed inside the cabinet where the suction ports are formed to exchange heat between air introduced into the cabinet and a refrigerant; an air blowing fan disposed inside the cabinet where the discharge port is formed to allow the air that is heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger to flow toward the discharge port; and an orifice disposed along an outer circumference of the air blowing fan, while being spaced apart from the air blowing fan, to form a flow path of the air flowing by the air blowing fan, wherein the orifice includes: a narrowing portion into which the air flowing inside the cabinet is introduced, with the flow path therein having a cross-sectional area that decreases in an air flow direction; a maintaining portion disposed downstream of the narrowing portion, with the flow path therein having a cross-sectional area that is maintained in the air flow direction; and an expanding portion disposed downstream of the maintaining portion, with the flow path therein having a cross-sectional area that increases in the air flow direction, and the maintaining portion has a height that decreases from a fourth direction opposite to the third direction toward the third direction along a circumferential surface of the orifice.
Abstract:
An outdoor unit of an air conditioner may include a case, an outdoor heat exchanger disposed in the case to perform heat exchange between outdoor air and a refrigerant, and a blower apparatus to blow and guide the outdoor air. The blower apparatus may include a blower fan to rotate about a shaft thereof to blow the air heat-exchanged with the refrigerant by the outdoor heat exchanger in one direction and an orifice installed in the case such that an inside and an outside of the case communicate with each other through the orifice to guide the air blown by the blower fan. The orifice may include a discharge part to guide air discharged from a front to a rear of the blower apparatus in an axial direction. A sectional area of the discharge part gradually increases from the front to the rear of the blower apparatus in the axial direction.
