Abstract:
A robot cleaner includes a main body that autonomously travels, a suction nozzle configured to move up and down or swing with respect to the main body, and a support to support the suction nozzle. The robot cleaner may respond to a change in a height of a floor to improve travel performance and may respond better to obstacles. Even when a height difference of the floor is large, cleaning performance may be improved by maintaining contact and increasing a suction pressure of the suction nozzle.

A drying machine is provided that may include a drum configured to receive items to be dried, an air circulating device that circulates air through the drum, a motor that drives a drying fan for air circulation, a condenser that condenses moisture in circulating air introduced from the drum, a heater that heats the circulating air introduced from the condenser, and a base, which is provided under the drum to support the drum and which may form a lower portion of the drying machine. The air circulating device may include a condensation duct, which may change in structure in order to accommodate different types of condensers based on how the respective condensers perform heat exchange. The base may include a condensation duct mount having a consistent shape and size to accommodate the condensation duct regardless of a shape of the condensation duct.
Abstract:
A laundry treatment apparatus and a method for controlling a laundry treatment apparatus are provided. The method may include supplying alternating current at a predetermined first frequency to a compressor; measuring a first time a temperature of refrigerant discharged from the compressor; measuring a second time a temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor, when a predetermined first reference time has passed after the measuring the first time of the temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor; and controlling the first frequency of the alternating current based on a difference between the temperature measured the first time and the temperature measured the second time.
Abstract:
A laundry treatment apparatus includes a connection duct into which air inside a drum, in which laundry is received, is discharged, and a discharge duct that extends in a longitudinal direction of the drum and that is connected to the connection duct. The laundry treatment apparatus also includes a filter assembly that has a filter unit located in the discharge duct and configured to filter air introduced into the discharge duct and an impurity remover unit configured to separate, from the filter unit, impurities remaining on the filter unit. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes an impurity storage device separable from the discharge duct. The impurity storage device is located below the filter unit and configured to store impurities separated from the filter unit by the impurity remover unit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a laundry treating apparatus including a drum for holding laundry, a connection duct for exhausting air from an inside of the drum, an exhaust duct provided parallel to a length direction of the drum connected to the connection duct, a filter assembly with a filter unit provided to the exhaust duct for filtering the air and a brush for removing foreign matter from the filter unit, a brush drive unit for making the brush to reciprocate a section of the filter unit, and a position sensing unit for sensing a position of the brush.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a robot cleaner and, more particularly, to a robot cleaner comprising: a main body forming the outer appearance; a suction unit provided in the main body; a dust collecting unit which is provided in the main body and collects dust introduced through the suction unit; a driving motor which provides rotating power to move the main body, and includes a driving shaft and a driving gear coupled to one end portion of the driving shaft; a driving wheel rotating according to driving of the driving motor; a deceleration gear unit which connects the driving motor to the driving wheel and transmits the rotating power generated by the driving motor to the driving wheel; a first housing which is coupled to the driving motor and covers at least a part of the driving wheel; and a second housing which is provided between the driving wheel and the first housing to be respectively coupled to the driving wheel and the first housing, and has a wheel accommodation unit provided at one side thereof for accommodating the driving wheel, and a gear accommodation unit provided at the other side for accommodating the deceleration gear unit. The first housing may be fixed by being coupled to the driving motor, and the second housing and the driving wheel coupled to the second housing may be provided to pivotably rotate together by using, as a rotary shaft, a gear shaft of a deceleration gear included in the deceleration gear unit.
Abstract:
A cleaner is disclosed. The cleaner includes a cleaner body, including a first connection passage for guiding external air thereinto, and a cleaning nozzle. The cleaning nozzle includes a case including a suction port and a second connection passage connected to the first connection passage to guide air sucked into the case through the suction port to the outside, a push button penetrating one surface of the case so as to be movable in the direction in which the push button is pressed, and a rotary member mounted to the outer surface of the second connection passage so as to be rotatable. The rotary member couples the first connection passage and the second connection passage to each other at normal times, and decouples the first connection passage and the second connection passage from each other when the rotary member is rotated along with movement of the push button.
Abstract:
A robot cleaner includes a cleaner main body including a first connection duct, and a cleaning module including a second connection duct detachably coupled to the first connection duct to perform a dust suction function or a mopping function. The first and second connection ducts include a first facing surface and a second facing surface, respectively.
