Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electric machine having a rotor including a set of permanent magnets and a stator including a stator strip made of a soft ferromagnetic material, the strip supporting a coil body having a single discontinuity, the coil body supporting a plurality of wire coils so as to form a polyphase coil stator assembly of the toroidal type, wherein the strip has a single discontinuity and has at least one partial cut at regular intervals between two consecutive wire coils.
