    摘要: A method of synchronization applied to databases of a network management system which establishes synchronization between a database of a managing system and a database of a managed system, and thereby facilitates the establishment of an initial database and reconfiguration of the same. The method (i) establishes a database based on a management information tree modeled on the system configuration for a network element NE forming a managed system, (ii) transfers an upper layer managed object instance information of the management information tree to an operation system OS of the managing system autonomously or by issuance of a command, (iii) starts, by the operation system OS of the managing system, the establishment of the database by the upper layer managed object instance data, (iv) demands, by this operation system OS, information of a lower layer managed object instance subordinate to the upper layer managed object instance, (v) sends, by the network element NE of the managed system, the lower layer managed object instance information to the managing system, and (vi) establish, by the managing system, the database using the thus sent information.

    摘要: In a system managing method and apparatus, a load applied to a common processing unit is decreased so as to improve a managing ability of the system. The system managing apparatus manages a system having a plurality of interfaces including a managed object interface and a non-managed object interface, the managed object interface handling resources as managed objects, the non-managed object interface handling resources as non-managed objects. A common processing unit performs operations common to the plurality of interfaces. A managed object interface agent is connected to the managed object interface so as to manage pointer attributes independently of the common processing unit. A non-managed object interface agent is connected to the non-managed object interface. The managed object interface agent includes a knowledge database and an agent database. The knowledge database stores information regarding a pointing instance and a pointed instance defined in each pointer attribute. The agent database holds the resources as instances of the managed object type so as to delete, add or update a value of each pointer attribute according to a process request.

    摘要: In control system for communication between units, each unit stores an adjacent-unit identifying number fixedly corresponding to each unit adjacent to one of the units, and forms a relative address, the relative address of the originating unit being "nil" and the relative address of the destination unit being expressed by a set of adjacent-unit identifying numbers of all units provided on the communication path between the originating unit and the destination unit, excluding the originating unit and including the destination unit, the signal message routing being executed in such a way that, when the received destination address is "nil", the unit receiving the message is determined to be the destination unit, and when the received destination address is not "nil", the unit receiving the message transfers the message to the next-stage unit, whereby a simple addressing process is realized.
