An example method comprises accessing, by a computing device at a premises, sensor information associated with a plurality of sensors located at the premises, receiving, by the computing device, first sensor data from a first security sensor of the plurality of sensors, receiving, by the computing device, second sensor data from a second security sensor of the plurality of sensors, and in response to determining, by the computing device and based on the sensor information, that the first sensor data is associated with a higher priority than the second sensor data processing, by the computing device, the first sensor data, and transmitting, by the computing device, the second sensor data to a remote computing device for processing, wherein the remote computing device is at a location different from the premises.

Abstract: Monitoring installations for buildings, building complexes, open spaces or other monitoring areas can comprise a plurality of system components. These system components can, for example, be designed as door openers, door closers, turnstiles, monitoring cameras, fire detectors, etc. It is standard for the system components to be interconnected via a network such that signals and data streams may be exchanged in the form of information. The invention relates to a monitoring system (1) which comprises: as a first network, a local monitoring network (2) for an object (3) to be monitored, said at least one local monitoring network (2) having at least one terminal; a security control device (13), the local monitoring network (2) being able to be connected to said security control device (13), such that data may be exchanged, by means of a client connection via a second network (4) such that first server messages SN_1 can be sent from the security control device (13) to a terminal address EG and terminal messages EN can be sent from the terminal (7) to the server address SA_C; and at least one user device (19, 25) which can be connected to the security control device (13) by a user connection via the second or a further network (4, 18) such that second server messages SN_2 can be sent from the security control device (13) to a user to one, or the, server address SA_C, SA_B. The security control device (13) comprises a device manager (14) which is designed to forward the terminal messages EN from the terminal (7) to the user address BA, as first server messages SN_1, and to forward the user messages BN from the user device (19, 25) to the terminal address EG, as second server messages SN_2, in order to achieve a user-terminal connection between said terminal (7) and user device (19, 25).

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods are provided herein for inventory management of retail products in a retail facility. A system for inventory management comprises: a motion sensor configured to detect motion in proximity to the one or more retail products; a location transmitter for transmitting a location of a store worker; a database; an alerting device for alerting the store worker to shelf inventory levels; and a control circuit configured to determine that a store worker is in proximity to the one or more retail products, determine that a shelf inventory level of the one or more retail products is below a predetermined threshold, and cause the alerting device to alert the store worker in proximity to the one or more retail products that the shelf inventory level of the one or more retail products is below the predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A system includes a security monitoring device in a monitored physical location, a security processing system, and one or more mobile devices. The one or more mobile devices are configured to communicate with the security monitoring device over a network and the security monitoring device is configured to communicate with the security processing system via the network. The security monitoring device and the security processing system device are configured to arm and disarm based on geolocation data associated with at least one of the mobile user devices.

Abstract: An event venue, such as a sports stadium, can use a security system to wireless communicate about security issues. The event venue may have one or more wireless transmitters with transmission zones within the event venue. When a central security office system receives a security alert from a device belonging to a security guard or an eventgoer, or from a law enforcement or first responder network, or from security cameras or emergency beacons (e.g., a fire alarms), information detailing the security issue can be composed into an electronic message, which may include camera footage. The electronic message can then be sent out to at least a subset of the devices in the event venue using the wireless transmitters, for example to summon security guards to deal with a brawl, or to warn eventgoers of a fire.
