Abstract: In the area of mobile telecommunications, the performance of single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) can be enhanced so as to provide video single radio voice call continuity (vSRVCC). Particularly, SRVCC/vSRVCC procedures can be configured for more efficient use of radio resources. A method includes receiving a query to determine in a multi-session scenario whether a last active session is a voice only session or a video session. A method also includes sending a response to the query indicating whether the last active session is the voice only session or the video session.

Abstract: A method and apparatus may include determining whether a user equipment is reachable or not. The method may also include determining whether a network should buffer downlink data. The method may also include requesting a first network node to buffer the downlink data for a duration. The method may also include informing a second network node if the user equipment is determined to be unreachable. The method may also include informing the second node if the downlink data has been buffered.
