摘要: In one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes a set of servers configured to route calls to and from a plurality of devices over network paths. Each of the devices is respectively associated with one of a plurality of client accounts. A control circuit may be communicatively connected to the one or more servers and directs the servers to route calls for a client account according to a respective routing policy for the client account. The routing policy may indicate one or more routing algorithms for selecting paths of a network for routing each of the calls, and may also indicate a selection algorithm configured to, for each call, one of the set of routing algorithms based on a set of criteria such as date or time of the call.

摘要: A system and method for generating and transmitting emergency messages and for maintaining real-time emergency communications sessions between users and emergency dispatch centers. A system receives data transmitted from a user device and constructs an emergency message related to a specific type of emergency scenario as well as the location, meta-data and background information of the user. The generated emergency message is transmitted via a communications network and delivered to an appropriate emergency dispatch center. The method enables the user to deliver a detailed request for help regardless of his or her location or, in another instance, delivers the basic emergency response related information for the user. The generated emergency message is universally compatible with emergency communications center infrastructure so long as the communications centers possess basic voice call equipment.

摘要: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing management of routing across multiple voice or data networks with separate routing masters. In various embodiments, in response to receiving a request to establish a call between a calling party in a first network and a called party in a second network, a computing system might receive a first set of network information from a first routing database(s) that is operated by a first service provider and a second set of network information from a second routing database(s) that is operated by a second service provider separate from the first service provider; might analyze the received first and second sets of network information to generate a unified routing model for optimizing routing of the call through the first and second networks; and might establish the call through a selected optimized route based on the generated unified routing model.

摘要: Asynchronous and/or synchronous telephony protocol systems and methods may include an asynchronous signaling node (ASN) and/or a call duration time quota from a charging onset to place and complete a call based on a first device call request as received from a first user mobile device on a packet switched network. The asynchronous systems include instructions to automatically modify the telephony address with a prefix and destination address when the first device has insufficient or independent balance or upon a network exception; route the modified call signal to the ASN; and deliver and automatically disconnect the call when the call is completed. The synchronous systems are balance-independent and include instructions to automatically set the call duration time quota upon such exception, and deliver and automatically disconnect the call from the second user telephony device when the call is completed or when the call duration time quota is exceeded.

摘要: A mobile application gateway for connecting devices on a cellular network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks and/or residential networks. The effects of the present invention are far reaching in terms of transferring effective call control from the cellular network into the control of the individual network such as the enterprise, and enabling new business models for the purchase of cellular service from a public cellular carrier by an enterprise. The invention may consist of a primarily of core network and services components based on the IMS network architecture, and is backward compatible to support legacy systems in place in current telecom and data networks.

摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for presenting multimedia content to a caller and/or a called party in association with a telephone call. Content may be presented pre-ring (before the called party's telephone rings), in-call, and/or post-call. Content presented to a party may be related to another party participating in the call or may be related to a third party (e.g., an advertiser that paid for the ability to have its content presented). Presented content may be actuable, to allow a caller to change the destination of a call, take advantage of an offer presented to him or her, redeem a coupon, schedule or queue a subsequent call, etc. To find a desired destination party, a caller may initiate a manual or automatic search of his or her local contacts (on his telephone) and/or a central or global directory or contact list.

The method includes, in response to a request to deactivate a telephone number, communicating a query to a blockchain for the telephone number, wherein a block on the blockchain identifies an organization that had sent a previous message to the telephone number. The method also includes determining, based on a response to the query, the organization and generating and activating a filter configured to stop a future message sent by the organization to the telephone number.

摘要: When an SIP server receives a call signal addressed to a callee side terminal, the SIP server transmits a warning signal to the callee side terminal before transmitting the call signal to the callee side terminal when an international call identifier indicating that the call signal passes through a foreign country is set in the call signal. In addition, when the SIP server receives the call signal addressed to the callee side terminal, the SIP server includes a warning that the caller number is disguised in a warning signal when an international call identifier indicating that the call signal passes through a foreign country is set in the call signal and the caller number of the call signal is a number from a country in which the callee side terminal is located.
