摘要： An attempt is made to miniaturize and reduce a thickness of a folding type portable terminal.There are provided a turning shaft member 51 having a shaft section 58; a friction member 54; an urging member 55; and a bearing member 52 including an accommodation section 63 for accommodating the friction member 54 and the urging member 55 and an insertion hole 62 which is in mutual communication with the accommodation section 63 and which retains the shaft section 58 in a turnable manner. The urging member 55 urges the friction member 54 when predetermined deflection is imparted to the urging member 55. The urged friction member 54 contacts an outer periphery of the shaft section 58 and also urges the outer periphery of the shaft section 58. The shaft section 58 of the turning shaft member 51 is configured so as to turn while generating sliding friction against the friction member 54 and the bearing member 52.

摘要： A portable terminal is provided, which can be thinned as a whole and can reduce a dimension of a step between a first housing and a second housing.A portable terminal includes, on a back surface of an upper housing (first housing), a first projection part provided in a position corresponding to a display part, and a first flat part adjacent to the first projection part; and, on a surface 12A of a lower housing (second housing), a second projection part provided in a position corresponding to a main operational part, and a second flat part adjacent to the second projection part. In a closing state of the portable terminal, the first projection part faces to the second flat part and the second projection part faces to the first flat part.

摘要： The present invention provides a sliding type portable terminal having a slide portion from which the head portions and the leading ends of screws are not exposed when the portable terminal is in an opened state.A first casing 2 and a second casing 3 are connected to each other by a slide portion 4 so as to be slidable. The first casing 2 has an opening portion 40 in an opposed surface which faces the second casing 3. The second casing 3 has a stationary portion 41 that is provided in an opposed surface thereof facing the first casing 2. The slide portion 4 includes a base portion 32, a guide-rail portion 31, and urging portions 33, and 34. The base portion 32 is fixed to the stationary portion 41 and is slidably guided by the guide-rail portion 31. The guide-rail portion 31 has a guide portion 46 which guides the base portion 32 so that the base portion 32 is slidable and which protrudes toward the second casing 3, and has also an extension portion 52 formed by extending the guide-rail portion 31 so that the guide-rail portion 31 projects outwardly from the guide portion 46. The urging portions 33 and 34 are provided so as to urge the base portion 32 to a sliding end of the guide portion 46. When the slide portion 4 is attached in the opening portion 40 so as to extend from an inner surface side of the first casing 2 to an outer surface side thereof, the extension portion 52 is made to abut against the periphery of the opening portion 40, so as to allow the base portion 32 and the urging portions 33 and 34 to pass therethrough, and as to cause the guide-rail portion 31 to prevent the opening portion 40 from passing therethrough.
