Abstract: A treatment system comprises a treatment tool and an energy source apparatus is used to electrically communicate with the treatment tool. The energy output source is configured to output high-frequency electric power to the bipolar electrodes so as to cause a high-frequency current to flow through a treatment target between the bipolar electrodes. A processor is used to control the energy output source. The processor performs an output control process on the heater electric power so that the heater reaches a target temperature and maintains at the target temperature. The processor detects a parameter related to the heater from the heater in the output control process based on the target temperature. The processor sets a threshold value used to determine to stop or to lower the output to the bipolar electrodes while the treatment target is being modified by the high-frequency current applied thereto based on the detected parameter.

Abstract: An electrosurgical treatment system includes an output section that supplies a high-frequency output to a treatment instrument, a detecting section that detects a voltage and an electric current of the high-frequency output in the output section, a phase-difference detecting section that calculates a phase difference between the detected voltage and electric current, and a control section that switches, on the basis of a change in the phase difference, a first phase for drying a biological tissue by applying the high-frequency output to the biological tissue while increasing the voltage to a second phase for coapting the biological tissue by performing, with a set value of a voltage determined according to a voltage value of the high-frequency output at an end point in time of the first phase, constant voltage control.

Abstract: A treatment system includes a treatment tool and an energy source apparatus. The treatment tool includes a heater and bipolar electrodes to grip a treatment target. The energy source apparatus supplies electrical energy to the treatment tool. A processor controls the output to the bipolar electrodes and the heater. The processor causes a high-frequency electric power to be output to the bipolar electrodes and detects a parameter that varies depending on tissue volume of the treatment target. The processor sets a target value related to an output control process for controlling the output to the heater. The processor controls the output to the heater so as to modify the treatment target with the heat of the heater. The processor increases the output and temperature to the heater until at least a predetermined point of time after starting the output control process for controlling the output to the heater.

Abstract: A treatment system includes a treatment tool and an energy source apparatus used to supply electrical energy to the treatment tool. The treatment tool includes a heater and bipolar electrodes to grip a treatment target. The energy source apparatus includes a processor to control the output to the bipolar electrodes and the heater, respectively. The processor directs the output to the bipolar electrodes and detects an initial value of the impedance of the treatment target. The processor determines whether or not the impedance has reached a minimum value and then retrieves a parameter that is detected before the minimum value of the impedance is detected. The processor performs a first process and/or a second process based on the acquired parameter after the minimum value is detected. The first process determines whether or not the output to the heater is required. The second process sets a target value.

Abstract: A heating treatment apparatus to treat a living tissue by heating the living tissue includes a first holding member and a second holding member, a first heat generating element provided on the first holding member, a second heat generating element provided on the second holding member, a power supply unit supplying electric power to cause the first heat generating element and the second heat generating element to generate heat, and a control unit controlling operations of the power supply unit. The control unit switches a mode between a first mode and a second mode during treatment of the living tissue. Temperatures of the first heat generating element and the second heat generating element are controlled to the same temperature in the first mode and to different temperatures in the second mode.

Abstract: A treatment system includes a power source for heat generation which outputs power for heat generation, a grasping member having a heating element which applies the power for heat generation as thermal energy to a living tissue, and a control section which performs constant temperature control on the power source for heat generation on the basis of temperature of the heating element, and controls the power source for heat generation so as to finish application of the thermal energy and complete treatment if the power for heat generation becomes not more than predetermined threshold power which is independent of a type of the living tissue or if a rate of decrease in the power for heat generation becomes not more than a predetermined threshold rate.

Abstract: A control device includes: a power source configured to supply a high frequency power to a treatment instrument configured to treat a living tissue; a detecting circuit configured to sequentially detect a phase difference between a voltage and a current of the high frequency power supplied to the treatment instrument; and a processor configured to control operation of the power source, the processor being configured to sequentially calculate a variation of the phase difference detected by the detecting circuit, compare the calculated variation of the phase difference with a first threshold set for a variation of a phase difference, and perform reduction processing to reduce output of the high frequency power to be supplied to the treatment instrument when it is determined that the calculated variation of the phase difference is equal to or smaller than the first threshold.
