Abstract:
A motion detection system including: an infrared light source that emits infrared rays; a camera that captures a subject using infrared rays reflected by the subject; a memory that stores a plurality of pieces of outline data an output device that outputs information associated with a state of the subject; and a controller that controls the infrared light source, the camera, the memory, and the output device, wherein the controller performs the following: makes a comparison between an outline of the subject captured by the camera and the pieces of outline data; selects, from among the pieces of outline data, a piece of outline data which resembles the outline of the subject captured by the camera; and causes the output device to output information associated with a state of the subject corresponding to the selected piece of outline data.
Abstract:
A filter includes a first filter having a recess, and a second filter made of a material different from that of the first filter. The second filter has a housed portion to be housed in the recess of the first filter such that the second filter is removable relative to the first filter. The housed portion of the second filter may correspond to either the entirety or a portion of the second filter. This structure facilitates formation of the filter having a simple structure and implementation of desired light distribution of two or more different light beams.
Abstract:
In an information presenting method, visible light including unique information, which is unique to a passenger carrier and specific to a location of the carrier, is emitted. The light is received in the passenger space and the unique information is obtained. One or more stop points at which the carrier is currently stopped or is to subsequently stop are obtained. The one or more stop points are derived from the unique information. An alighting point at which a user is to alight from the carrier is obtained. Whether the alighting point is included in the one or more stop points is determined. Alighting information notifying the user to alight from the bus is presented to the user via a terminal, when the alighting point is determined to be included in the one or more stop points.
Abstract:
A light-emitting device includes: a holder having an elongate shape and flexibility; and a flat light-emitting element held by the holder and having a rectangular shape and flexibility. The holder includes a frame portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the holder, and a holding part protruding from the frame portion in a plan view. The frame portion of the holder and the flat light-emitting element overlap in a lateral-view direction, and the flat light-emitting element is joined to and held by the holding part.
