Abstract: An electrochemical device includes a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material, and an electrolytic solution. The positive electrode active material includes a conductive polymer, and the electrolytic solution contains anions and cations. The conductive polymer is capable of doping and dedoping of the anions. The cations includes a lithium ion and a quaternary ammonium ion.
