摘要: A full-size keyboard with an integrated laptop stand. In one embodiment, the laptop stand is part of a cover for a portable keyboard, with the cover unfolding and including a pop-up stand for supporting a portable computer. The stand is thus connected to the keyboard rather than being a separate article. The cover includes electronics, such as a USB hub and ports, an MP3 player docking station, speakers, etc. A flexible hinge connects the keyboard and cover, with imbedded electrical flex connectors. A presence sensor, such as a PIR sensor, shuts off battery use by these electronics when the user is not around.

摘要: A full-size keyboard with an integrated laptop stand. 摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a detachable module for a computer keyboard to provide additional functionalities and enhance the usage of the computer. In one embodiment a keyboard comprising a keyboard module including a keyboard body having a plurality of input keys for providing input to a processing device; and a detachable module detachably connected to the keyboard body of the keyboard module, the detachable module including at least one of a display or at least one input member for providing input to the processing device and/or the keyboard module. In a docked mode, the detachable module is connected to the keyboard body. In an undocked mode, the detachable module is disconnected from the keyboard body. In the docked mode, the detachable module interacts with the keyboard module to perform one or more functions based on interaction between the detachable module and the keyboard module and/or to transfer data between the detachable module and the keyboard module.

摘要: A universal charger which can charge multiple electronic devices, such as a keyboard, mouse, remote control, etc. In one embodiment, a user is directed to a website over the internet to a site containing charging profiles for multiple devices. The user selects the particular devices the user will want to charge and downloads the charging profiles. The charging profiles are provided to the universal charger device. A number of mechanisms are provided to identify the device, such as wireless or wired communication with the device or reading an RFID tag in the device. Various embodiments are disclosed, including having smaller devices (remote control, mouse) moved to the charger and the charger move to larger devices (keyboard). Also, various indicators are shown to indicate which device needs charging, and various lighting schemes show the amount of charging.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an attachment apparatus for conveniently, securely, and releasably attaching a handheld device such as a handheld computer to a keyboard or other accessories. In some embodiments, the attachment apparatus is configured to be flexible or adjustable to accommodate differently sized handheld devices. In addition, an automatic switch on feature is implemented in some embodiments which allows the handheld device to be automatically switched on or off by manipulating the position of the attachment apparatus. In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, an apparatus for attaching a handheld device to a second device comprises an attachment device having a connector configured to be electrically connected to the handheld device. An adjustable mechanism is configured to adjustably connect the handheld device to the second device to move the handheld device relative to the second device between a first position and a second position. The attachment device includes a switch which is automatically activated to switch on the handheld device in the second position.
