Abstract: Flexible piezoelectric composite films, flexible piezoelectric impact sensors, pedestrian protection systems, and related methods. Such a flexible piezoelectric composite film includes a flexible matrix and a plurality of piezoelectric particles dispersed and embedded within the flexible matrix.
