Abstract: An image projection device includes a projection unit converging image light beams emitted in different directions from a scanning unit at a first convergence point in user's eye, a reflection unit converging the image light beams at a second convergence point before the projection unit, an optical member being provided between the projection unit and the reflection unit, converting the image light beams into convergent light beams, and causing the image light beams to enter the projection unit as diffusion light beams a drive unit moving the reflection unit, a detection unit detecting a direction in which user's pupil has moved, and a drive control unit controlling the drive unit to move the reflection unit so that incident positions of the image light beams on the optical member change according to the direction in which the pupil has moved.

Abstract: An image projection device incudes a scanning unit that two-dimensionally scans a light beam emitted from a light source, a light guide member that is formed of a glass material through which light beams emitted from the scanning unit at different times pass, has reflection surfaces reflecting the light beams, converges the light beams reflected by the reflection surfaces at a first convergence point in the eye of the user, and then irradiates a retina of the user with the converged light beams, a first optical member that converges the light beams emitted from the scanning unit at a second convergence point before the light guide member and then causes the light beams to enter the light guide member, and a second optical member that is disposed at the second convergence point and causes the light beams to enter a last reflection surface as diffusion lights.

Abstract: An image projection device includes: a light source that emits a laser beam; a control unit that generates an image light beam, and controls emission of the image light beam; a scan unit that scans the image light beam to convert it into scan light; a first light converging unit that is disposed before a user's eye, converges the scan light at a first convergence point near a pupil, and then irradiates the retina with the scan light to project the image on the retina; and a second light converging unit that converges the scan light at a second convergence point before the first light converging unit, and then irradiates the first light converging unit with the scan light; wherein a scan angle of the scan light is substantially the same size as a convergence angle at which the scan light converges to the first convergence point.
